Double Miles To Be Offered For Both ANA Mileage Club And
US Airways Dividend Miles Members For Travel Flown By Nov. 30

TOKYO and TEMPE, Ariz. July 29, 2009 - ANA and US Airways (NYSE: LCC) customers will soon enjoy the convenience of integrated reservations and connections thanks to a new codeshare agreement slated to begin Sept. 16, pending both U.S. Department of Transportation and Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

To celebrate the new agreement, US Airways and ANA will offer double mileage to ANA Mileage Club (AMC) members traveling on all US Airways-operated flights, both international and domestic, and to Dividend Miles members traveling on all ANA-operated international and domestic flights between Sept. 16 and Nov. 30.
US Airways will place its US flight code on ANA flights between Tokyo’s Narita International Airport and Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C. (IAD), and New York (JFK). ANA will place its flight code, NH, on US Airways flights from ANA gateway cities to Charlotte, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Las Vegas.
“Working with our partner US Airways, the networks of both ANA and US Airways will expand by the commencement of our codesharing agreement, and we can together offer our customers a wider choice of flights between Japan and the United States and within the continental United States,” Keisuke Okada, ANA’s executive vice president, Alliances and International Affairs said. “As Star Alliance members, we already give our customers the advantage of collecting and using mileage on our respective networks. With this new agreement in place they will also have the convenience of using just one flight code for their connecting journeys,” he continued.
US Airways Senior Vice President Marketing and Planning Andrew Nocella said, “We’re pleased to expand our virtual network through flights offered through ANA’s impressive network at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport to more than 65 destinations in Japan and Asia. And integrated reservations and connections for our customers mean simplified trip planning and one-itinerary travel.”
