Travel Pattern
Round trip A travel entirely by air from a point of origin to another point and return to the point of origin.
e.g.Tokyo to Los Angeles to Tokyo
Circle Trip A travel from one point and return to the same point by a continuous, circuitous air route, including two international fare components which do not meet the conditions of the round trip definition.
e.g.Tokyo to Los Angeles to San Francisco to Tokyo
Open-jaw trip A tour including (a) trip(s) by ground transportation in either departing city or destination city or both.
e.g.Tokyo to Los Angeles to (by car, etc.) San Francisco to Tokyo
There are 3 patterns trips. The fare is calculated by adding half of the departing/returning round-trip fares.
  1. The arriving city of departing trip and the departing city of returning trip are different.
  2. The departing city of departing trip and the arriving city of returning trip are different.
  3. Both 1 and 2 are the case.

Period of Stay
Minimum stay The period is counted from the next day of departure of the first international sector.
Maximum stay The period is counted from the day of departure from fare origin.

Child Discounts
Child fare For children aged 2 to 11.
Infant fare For infants aged under 2 who do not occupy seats.
(The child fare applies when an infant will occupy his/her own seat.)

Transfers
A change from arrival flight to departing flight at transit point.
The transfer at the point of turnaround is not counted.

Stopovers
To stay somewhere more than 24hours after scheduled arrival time to scheduled departure time.
The stopover at the point of turnaround is not counted.

Refunds

<Before Departure> and <After Departer> mean as below.

  • Before Departure: Before the commencement of journey (applicalbe for totally unused ticket)
  • After Departure: After the commencement of journey (applicabe for partially used ticket)

If refund is permitted by the fare rules, refund will be made as below.

  • For totally unused ticket, the fare paid, less any cancellation fees will be refunded.
  • For partially used ticket, the difference between the fare paid and the fare applicable to the sector used, less any cancellation fees will be refunded.
    Please note that there may be no residual value for refund as a result of calculation for partially used ticket.

Upgrade Award

To upgrade a booking by using ANA International Upgrade Awards, ANA Upgrade Points or Star Alliance Upgrade Awards. (For code share flights, carrying ANA flight numbers operated by other airlines or code share flights carrying other airline flight numbers operated by ANA cannot be used)
