Wine

We serve wines selected by Olivier Poussier, voted the Best Sommelier in the World in 2000, for ANA customers.

Dócil Loureiro 2016 (Vinho Verde, Portugal)

The wine offers up a pale-yellow robe with glints of green. The seductive smell gives off aromas of green apple and lemon. Lovely freshness livens up this wine, the mineral influence of the granite gives it good depth. Very precise complexity where the acidity and the presence of the carbonic maceration invigorate the wine, producing a finely-chiseled, saline wine with lovely bitters on the palate that add relief and persistence.

Acústic Negre 2015 (Montsant, Spain)

The Montsant appellation lies in southern Catalonia, famous for the quality of the old Grenache vines. The wine spends 10 months on wood, in used barrels. The 2015 vintage is a solar year which has produced a very full and dense wine defined by juicy fruit redolent with dark berries and spices. The wood underscores the wine but does not dominate. Very full and rich mouthfeel, with fully developed tannins; mid-palate, the wine is round and voluptuous.

■ Kakurei Junmai Ginjo (Aoki Shuzo, Niigata Prefecture)
From a brewery rooted for 300 years in the snowy terrain of Uonuma, a region known for its delicious rice.
A perfect meal accompaniment combining light, crisp flavors with proper acidity and bite.

Ichinoide Tokubetsu Junmai (Kuge Honten, Oita Prefecture)

Based in Usuki City, the brewery has single-mindedly focused on making good sake since its founding in 1860, rather than yielding to the fads of the times. Made exclusively with locally grown Wakamizu sake rice, Ichinoide Tokubetsu unfolds a full-bodied aroma and rich taste.

Applicable routes: Phnom Penh, Yangon, Saigon, Hanoi, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea routes

Coffee

■ ANA Original Coffee -- Pour Over The Sky -- 


This is a single-origin coffee using BSCA* certified beans cultivated on the Monte Alegre farm in Brazil. Made from beans permeated with the sweetness of their fruit, the coffee combines pleasant bitterness with a mild sweet touch.
* An organization that adopts quality-oriented coffee bean producers as its members, aiming to watch over the preservation of coffee quality in Brazil.

Note: Other brands will be served on certain routes (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea routes).
