One of Shizuoka's local fish, kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) is richly boiled with soy sauce for the main dish. The springy flesh and sweet and salty sauce are a superb combination. Also, enjoy koshihikari rice produced in Gotemba, together with sakura shrimp (Sergia lucens).
