Les desserts de Yamaguchi


This is a sweet rice jelly called Uiro dressed with bracken powder typical of Yamaguchi Uiro. The strained bean paste-flavored Uiro contains adzuki beans, which are produced in Hokkaido and are lightly sweetened by cooking in honey. The gentle sweetness of adzuki beans serves to enhance the sophisticated taste of this Uiro.
