The ANA will begin activities as an Official Airline Partner of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games

On Monday, February 1, ANA will start its activities towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In June 2015, ANA became an Official Airline Partner of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since then, everyone in the ANA has been preparing for this moment.
One of the very first things we did was to launch the Tokyo 2020 Olympics/Paralympics Promotion Division on January 1, 2016. This team is comprised of not only employees who work behind the scenes, but also includes airport and in-flight operational staff who support the quality of service provided by the ANA as frontline staff. From top management to on-site employees, we will all continue to work together as one.
Following this initiative, on February 1 we will start our promotional activities towards building momentum for the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Our slogan towards building momentum for the Tokyo 2020 Games is,
“HELLO BLUE, HELLO FUTURE ?Let’s make 2020 our runway-”
Here are our thoughts towards 2020 and beyond.
In 2020, many people are expected to visit Japan. An ANA flight might be the first “Japan” that visitors experience. In various situations such as at the airport and in-flight, we will keep striving to provide exceptional service both in terms of hospitality services and fundamental facilities to people from all around the world, regardless of culture, language, nationality, gender and disability. It is also our hope that our activities will become a bridge between Japan and the rest of the world. Our focus is to contribute to the success of the Tokyo 2020 Games, and furthermore, for this to be our legacy as we look toward the future beyond 2020.
With these thoughts in mind, we would like to work hard to support not only the challenges Japan and its athletes will face but also athletes and spectators from around the world to ensure that the Tokyo 2020 Games are the best Olympic and Paralympic Games they have seen.
Specifically, we would like to support sporting events for athletes with disabilities and the promotion of universal service so that customers from around the world can feel safe and comfortable, and do everything we can towards 2020 to popularize both the Olympic and the Paralympic Games. Updates on our activities will be announced on this site.
The Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in August of this year. While we cheer on the Japanese team, we believe Rio 2016 will also create excitement in Japan as the Tokyo 2020 Games are next. The ANA will work together as one so that the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games are the runway for success for Japan and all countries around the world.
