Reservation Period

Reservation Period (Deadline)

From 09:30 on the calendar day 2 months prior to the departure date until 4 days prior to the departure date.
Furthermore, domestic flight award tickets cannot be issued as open tickets and are also not eligible for waitlisting.

  • *If such a calendar day does not exist, the reservation period will start on the last day of the month 2 months prior to the departure date.
For example: For flights departing on April 29-30, reservations can be made starting from February 28 (or February 29 in leap years).
For Roundtrip Itineraries or Itineraries with 2 or More Sectors
Even if reservations have not yet opened for the departure date of the return flight or second sector (and any subsequent sectors), the reservation can be made at the same time as that for the outbound flight (first sector).
However, this policy only applies if the departure date of the return trip or second sector (and any subsequent sectors) is within 14 days of the calendar day 2 months after the reservation date.

Example: If a reservation was made for the following itinerary on October 1.

Departure Date for First Sector
November 25
Departure Date for Second Sector
December 15. Although reservations for this date have not opened yet, it is within 14 days of the calendar day 2 months after the reservation date (October 1). Therefore, it is possible to make the reservation.

Changes After Making the Reservation

The names of the passenger and the AMC member who is providing the miles, as well as the sectors and the number of sectors, cannot be changed after an application has been submitted. It is possible to change to a different flight on the same sector on the same day.

(Example)
Departure Date of the Originally Reserved Flight New Departure Date Deadline for Reservation Changes
September 20 September 18 By September 14
September 20 September 23 By September 19
September 20 September 25 By the departure time of the originally reserved flight on September 20.
  • *Reservation changes must be made by 4 days prior to the new departure date (not including the departure date itself) and before the departure time of the originally reserved flight. Open tickets cannot be issued. Please make a reservation for the flight you wish to use. Upon arriving at the airport on the departure day of the originally reserved flight, it is possible to change to an earlier flight on the same sector if seats are available. If the number of available seats is low, boarding procedures will only be allowed after the final seat availability is confirmed.
  • *If a departure date change results in a change in the seasonality of an award ticket, the required mileage will be adjusted. If the required mileage increases, you must use additional miles to account for the difference. If you do not have the additionally required miles in your mileage account, the reservation change will not be accepted. On the other hand, if the required mileage decreases, the difference will be refunded. However, miles that have expired at the time of refund processing cannot be refunded. Only miles can be used to account for differences in required mileage. Other payment methods such as cash cannot be used.
  • *With the exception of flights that are used under the conditions described in the previous point, domestic flight award tickets are only valid for the corresponding reserved flight.

For the following routes, the listed airports are considered interchangeable.

  • *For routes to/from the 3 airports in northern Kyushu (Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, Saga) and the 2 airports in the Chugoku region (Hiroshima, Iwakuni), the departure and arrival airports cannot be changed.

Using an Award Ticket to Board

Usage by AMC Members

Customers who have ANA Cards (with smart card functionality), ANA Mileage Club cards, ANA Mileage Club Digital Membership Card, and mobile phones with OSAIFU-KEITAI® (digital wallet) functionality (download of the Mobile AMC application is required) are able to use SKiP Service, which allows advance seat requests. Simply proceed directly to the airport security checkpoint, scan the mileage card, feature phone, or smartphone on the reader, and then board the flight. (Customers who have checked baggage will need to go to the baggage counter.)

Customers who did not make advance seat requests can collect their e-Ticket Itinerary Receipts at a self-service check-in machine before proceeding to the airport security checkpoint.

  • *Android devices with OSAIFU-KEITAI® (digital wallet) functionality must be registered for SKiP Service via the ANA website (smartphone version). *OSAIFU-KEITAI® is a registered trademark of NTT DOCOMO, Inc.

Usage by Family Members

When a registered award user is using an award ticket while not accompanied by the actual AMC member

  • The actual passenger who is AMC member must have 10-digit AMC membership number.
  • The actual passenger who is NOT AMC member must have both the 9-digit confirmation number and the reservation number which are issued at the time of the reservation.

AMC members should make sure to provide them with this information.

When Making the Reservation

When making the reservation through the ANA website, please retain the 9-digit confirmation number and reservation number that are displayed on the Reservation Completed screen. (The 9-digit confirmation number is not displayed if 10-digit AMC membership number was registered at the time of the reservation.)

When Checking In
Enter the 9-digit confirmation number and reservation number at a self-service check-in machine at the departure airport to collect the e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt. SKiP Service is available in the following cases.
  • The actual passenger's 10-digit AMC membership number was registered at the time of the reservation.
  • The actual passenger has downloaded the 2D barcode onto their device.
  • *The 9-digit confirmation number and reservation number are required even when collecting the e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt from a check-in counter.
  • *Customers who do not have their confirmation numbers are asked to go to the ANA counter at the airport on the departure date. Procedures can only be completed after customers present their reservation details and their identities are verified through official identification documents (driver's license, passport, health insurance card, etc.).
  • *Please scan the mileage card (with smart card functionality), OSAIFU-KEITAIR device, or 2D barcode on the reader at the boarding gate and board the flight.
  • *Click on the link shown at right for information regarding SKiP Service.
