Retroactive Mileage Registration

Retroactive mileage registration applications for international flights are accepted through the ANA website, by phone, and by post.
Customers who did not register their AMC membership number in advance as well as customers who did not receive their accrued miles after the flight due to system-related issues can retroactively register their miles at any time between 3 days and 6 months after the departure date.

ANA Website (Desktop Version)

After logging into the ANA website, please go to the Members-only Features and select Mileage Credit for ANA Japan International Flights under Retroactive Registration.

After you have logged in, please attach your confirmation documents and register your retroactive mileage on the Retroactive Mileage Registration page.


Notes:

  • Approximately two weeks will be required from the application submission to the completion of processing.
  • Please kindly send attachment pictures files in either .pdf .jpg .jpeg .gif .png formats.(Pictures taken by smartphones are usually in these formats)
  • If you are applying through the ANA website above, you do not need to attach any confirmation documents.
  • Please be advised that files(pictures,documents etc) cannot be attached when using the ANA App. Please use our Smartphone site to send any attachments.

Please send the documents required for retroactive mileage registration as well as the completed Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form to the address below. They must be received within 6 months from the departure date.

  • *Only regular postal mail will be accepted. Applications which are sent by courier or express delivery services will not be accepted.
Notes
  • *For codeshare flights operated by ANA partner airlines, the retroactive mileage registration application will not be processed if any of the required documents are missing.
  • Responses to individual inquiries related to retroactive mileage registration will not be provided. Please check your application status using the Members-only Features, statements, etc.

Documents Required for Retroactive Mileage Registration

If you have all of the following documents ready, retroactive mileage registration will be possible for 6 months after using a flight.

  1. e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt (receipt issued by an airline or travel agency which indicates the flight number, flight information, booking class, etc.) or passenger ticket receipt (copies accepted)

Notes

  • If the application is submitted after 6 months had already passed, the retroactive mileage registration will not be approved.
  • Only customers who have completed procedures to join ANA Mileage Club can apply for retroactive mileage registration. (Submitting a retroactive mileage registration application is not equivalent to applying to join AMC.)
  • The status of the retroactive mileage registration application can be checked via the ANA website. Responses to individual inquiries regarding the status of mileage accrual, etc., will not be provided.
  • Retroactive mileage registration is possible starting from 3 days after the departure date.

Points to Note When Submitting an Application Through the ANA Website

  • When submitting an application for an ANA domestic flight, select Mileage Credit for ANA Japan Domestic Flights under Retroactive Registration.
  • Please note that the session will time-out after 30 minutes of inactivity and all previously entered information will be deleted.

Points to Note When Submitting an Application By Email

  • Please retain all documents which are required for retroactive mileage registration until you have confirmed that the mileage has been credited to your account.
  • The retroactive mileage registration application will not be processed if any of the required documents are missing.

Points to Note When Submitting an Application By Post

  • All documents which are submitted in relation to a retroactive mileage registration application, including the Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form, will not be returned. If you wish to retain any of the documents, please make a copy before sending the original. (All received documents will be appropriately disposed after the mileage registration application has been processed.)
  • The retroactive mileage registration application will not be processed if any of the required documents are missing.
  • If the AMC member information on the Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form does not match what is actually registered to the AMC member's account, all received documents will be sent back to the sender.
  • When sending a retroactive mileage registration application by post, the customer is responsible for all necessary postage fees. Postage fees will not be refunded.
  • Only regular postal mail will be accepted. Applications which are sent by courier or express delivery services will not be accepted.
