There may be long lines at the airport counters and security checkpoint, so we ask that you arrive with adequate time to spare.
In addition, during the busy periods, nearby roads and parking facilities may be very congested.

Departure procedures

We kindly request passengers to reconfirm the times by which each of the pre-boarding procedures must be completed.

As a guideline, pass through the security checkpoint at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time.Please come to the boarding gate at least 20 minutes prior to your departure.
Departure time is the time when the flight blocks out from the gate.

You may not be able to board after 10 minutes before departure.

Process below is necessary after you board.

What you need to do at the airport

Passengers using SKiP service

Our SKiP Service allows you go straight to security. Please use this service if you are eligible and have completed your reservation, purchase and seat reservation. If you have baggage to check in, please complete the necessary procedures at the baggage counter and then be sure to proceed through the security checkpoint 30 minutes prior to departure.

- passengers accompanying a child under 3 years of age who have received an Infant e-Ticket Passenger Receipt upon purchase at an ANA domestic airport counter or at a travel agency (excluding some stores) can use SKiP Service.

- [Child aged under 8 years and accompanying passenger aged 12 years or older reserved separately] A child aged under 8 years cannot use the SKiP service and must check in at the Self Service Check-in machine together with the accompanying passenger.

[POINT]
To ensure smooth boarding, check which boarding gate you will be using at the nearest security checkpoint.Check the
"Flight Status page" or a flight information board in the airport.

As the airport counter will be very busy on the day of departure, please register beforehand on the ANA website or with the ANA Domestic Reservation and Customer Service Center. By registering in advance, you can use the SKiP service.

Registration for the Shareholder's Benefit Number Notification Card can also be done using the self-service check-in machines.

Note: Registration of the Shareholder's Benefit Number and password can be done by using the blue self-service check-in machines. Shareholder's Benefit Number Notification Cards will not be collected. Please keep your card safe until boarding is complete.

The baggage counter may be crowded, so check in your baggage early.We may refuse to check your baggage if not properly packed.
There are many bags and suitcases of similar shapes, so attach a name tag or something that serves as a marker to your baggage.

[Handling of Baggage on Certain Aircraft Types]
Certain ANA flights (aircraft types Q4A), IBEX Airlines flights and Oriental Air Bridge flights may not have enough space available to carry the baggage of passengers, in which case the baggage will be transported on a different flight or via other mode of transport.

The sizes of carry-on baggage will be checked at the security checkpoint.

Baggage exceeding the specified dimensions *1 cannot go through the security checkpoint. Check them at the baggage counter.There may be long lines at the security checkpoint. Go through the security checkpoint early.

Even if your baggage meets the specified dimensions *1overall, check if its width, length or depth exceeds the applicable dimension *2.

According to the instruction by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, airport security has been tightened and security checks increased, with the passengers now subject to shoe checks, etc.
There may be long lines at the security checkpoint and it may take some time to go through the security check. Pass the security checkpoint early and proceed to the boarding gate.
*The tips below will allow you to pass smoothly through the security checkpoint.

*After the security checkpoint, put your cigarette lighter in your pocket or otherwise carry it on your person. One person is allowed to bring one cigarette lighter on board the aircraft.
(Lighters containing oil tanks, cigar lighters and pre-mixed burner lighters (turbo lighters, jet lighters, lighters producing a blue flame etc.) cannot be carried on board or checked in.)

Souvenirs packed in bags with open tops may be sealed with tape when checked in order to avoid leakage or loss.
In order to avoid loss or spillage from cabin baggage, we ask passengers themselves to ensure proper packaging.

During busy periods of the airport, many passengers may use "Assistance for passengers traveling with pets" and the rental pet cages available at the airport may run out.
passengers who intend to check-in a pet are requested to bring their own pet cage.
Checking-in of short-nosed dog breeds, such as Bulldogs, is suspended between June 1st and September 30th every year.See Handling of short-nosed dog breeds for more information.

Counter for passengers who need special assistance at Airports

Please confirm the items below if you wish to bring your baby stroller on board.

(1) Baby strollers can be brought on board only if they fall within the stipulated regulations limits when folded. You can confirm the size regulations for carry-on baggage for Japan domestic flights here.
(2) As only one item of carry-on baggage is allowed per passenger, passengers bringing a baby stroller on board cannot bring other carry-on items with them aside from personal effects such as handbags, cameras or umbrellas.
(3) Please fold and store your baby stroller in a case before passing through the ticket gate. If you do not have a case of your own, our staff will provide you with a plastic bag specifically for use with baggage.
