ANA Forest of the Heart 2017
Annual Minamisanriku Forest Regeneration Project Begins

“ANA Forest of the Heart” is a project that has been held every year since July 2012, where ANA employees work together to “grow forests that will contribute to local communities and society” in accordance with the goals of ANA FLY ECO 2020.*

In July, approximately 40 employees of ANA and our business partner, Boeing Japan, gathered from around the country to help tree thinning and other activities. Some first-time participants, who were initially a little anxious, were relaxed and smiling once they entered the forest.

We all worked up a sweat together to create a foot path for the many people who will walk through the forest.

The ANA Group will continue working with the people of Minamisanriku to help revitalize their town, and aim to be a leading eco-friendly airline.
