1. Safety Targets
ANA sets safety targets in the Safety Management System (SMS) in its annual plan to achieve the safety status to be achieved. The targets and results for each fiscal year are published in the ANA Group Safety Report.
2. Measurement by Safety Performance Indicator
ANA monitors safety performance (execution capability and actual performance) to determine the state of safety risk. To evaluate the achievement of safety targets, ANA sets safety indicators and safety target values, monitors trends in safety performance, and implements improvements in safety performance. These procedures are stipulated in the Annex to the Safety Management Manuals.
3. ANA Group Aviation Safety and Aviation Security Policy
In fiscal years 2026-2028, ANA Group will promote safety and enhance security activities under the theme of "Pursuing safety to deliver unwavering peace of mind to our customers, society, and colleagues" by establishing the following activity policies. ANA Group is committed to the following activities.
1. Strengthening Foundations by Enhancing Mechanisms and Fostering Safety Culture
- Elimination of root causes of unsafe incidents (organizational/environmental factors, human factors)
- Enhancing the effectiveness of countermeasures: We will implement fundamental countermeasures and solutions for latent issues at the site and enhance the effectiveness of countermeasures by establishing and implementing methods to evaluate their impact.
- Raising Awareness and Behavioral Change: We will create an environment where opinions can be shared freely based on psychological safety, and promote mutual learning from others' cases and instilling a sense of ownership in awareness and actions.
- Promoting sharing and collaboration within the group: We will share safety and security activities across group companies to promote collaboration that enhances quality and efficiency. We will leverage Group-wide synergy to improve our overall safety performance.

2. Evolution of the Safety Management System (SMS) and Security Management System (SeMS)
- Establishing safety and security management system with global perspective: We will maintain a system for continuous compliance with international standards.
- Establishing an industry-wide risk management system: We will establish a management system that improves safety throughout the industry in cooperation with the national government and other airlines.
- Strengthening preventive activities: We will establish a risk management framework based on predictive approaches utilizing DX.
