Service Charges and Change Period

Handling fees will not be incurred for the following changes.

However, you will be able to change your reservation again if your new flight is delayed or canceled.
Charges or fare differences will not be collected or refunded. *1 If you cancel your flight reservation for personal reasons after changing it, you will be charged a specified processing fees for the original fare.

    When changing from Premium Class to Economy Class, we will refund the fare difference. We will inform you via email as soon as your refund has been processed.
  • * Reserved flight: Refers to the initially reserved flight that has been delayed or canceled (or is to be canceled).
  • * The flights subject to the above conditions due to delays are flights that have had their departure times delayed by 30 minutes or more.
  • * If you plan to change a flight because it has been delayed/canceled and you are not going to be able to catch your connecting/return flight, you will also be able to change the latter in line with the abovementioned points. In this instance, please change your delayed/canceled flight and the connecting/return flight at the same time.
    Depending on the details of your change or refund request, ANA may contact you to confirm the circumstances.

Making changes on the ANA Website

Changes can be made on the ANA Website up to 20 minutes prior to the departure of your reserved flight. Please see here for information on the change (transfer) procedures.

  • * Processing may not be possible in some cases depending on the ticket type, payment method, and purchasing location.
  • * The following cases cannot be processed on the ANA Website.Please contact the Reservation and Customer Service Center in Japan or the U.S..
    • If changing the delayed or canceled flight makes it necessary to change the inbound flight (itinerary for returning to the departure point or in the same direction)
    • If further cancellations or delays occur after changing a canceled or delayed flight
    • If further cancellations or delays occur after the cancellation or delay of the reserved flight
    • If part of the itinerary containing connecting flights has been used
    • If the service class changes from Premium Class to Economy Class due to a change in aircraft type
    • For unaccompanied minors
  • * If you have already checked in your baggage, reservation changes will not be accepted on the ANA Website or through the ANA Japan Domestic Reservation/Information Center. Please inform our staff at the airport if you wish to make changes.
  • * You can also change the route of your reserved flight. However, customers are responsible for any incurred transportation costs.

Customers that have used Online Check-in service, proceed directly to the security checkpoint on the date of boarding.
