Main Opinions from Stakeholders
Rights of Migrant Workers
- It is important for workers to know what kinds of rights they have. Regarding the rights of workers that they themselves should be aware of, on-site managers need to provide them with education, for which it would be effective to raise the awareness of the managers.
- For the enhancement of overall operations and systems, it is important to hold on-site meetings on a regular basis.
Grievance Mechanism
- The grievance mechanism is provided not separately but seamlessly with the human rights due diligence system, which is highly commendable.
- It is important to check the effectiveness of the regular survey by comparing the results with the opinions expressed via Ninja.
Prevent the Use of Airplanes in Human Trafficking
- Human trafficking by using of airplanes is a problem that is difficult to solve as the methods used and profiles of the victims have been changing. However, ANA is expected to continue its measures to solve the problem, evolving its human rights due diligence system going forward.
Human Rights-Related KPIs
- It is advisable to focus on the process and show case study results. Also, it is effective to clarify the people targeted, the causal factors and the solutions that are actually provided.
- It is important for ANA to ensure transparency and continue to show its commitment as a company.
