Key Options from Experts
Counter measures against Human Trafficking
Human rights issues should be addressed through industry-wide collaboration rather than competition. In this regard, ANA's active engagement with external organizations is highly commendable. Going forward, it is recommended to strengthen the sharing of information regarding evolving risks and to further leverage external expertise.
Approach to Targets
Beyond mere quantification, there is a need for indicators that measure "process effectiveness," covering everything from problem identification to remediation. It is important to disclose the discovery of deficiencies with high transparency as an "opportunity for improvement."
Foreign Workers and intercultural Understanding
To prevent friction in the workplace, it is necessary to establish mechanisms for deepening mutual understanding, such as introducing "diversity awareness programs" aimed at fostering inclusion.
Grievance Mechanism
To improve awareness of the "Ninja" whistleblowing desk, "regular and repetitive" communications is essential. Visual reminders, such as posters, should be strengthened.
