In addition, for customers who find it difficult to sit and require a lying position throughout the flight—including during takeoff and landing—stretcher (portable bed) services are also available.
We offer 3 types of assist seats. Advance reservations are required for all types. Please note that these may not be available depending on the aircraft type or seat.

Height limit: 19-40 inches (48-101 cm)
Weight limit: 5-39 lbs. (2.3-18 kg)
The seat will be set to face backward if the passenger weighs less than 20 lbs. (9 kg).

Child restraint systems (child seats) or CARES harnesses approved by Japanese (MLIT), European (ECE R44), or U.S. (FMVSS No. 213)* safety standards can be used on board as postural support devices. Custom-made personal support devices may also be permitted for use in the cabin.

Escorts are requested to provide assistance within the airport, during boarding, during flight, and upon disembarking, as well as aid during emergency evacuations.
Flight attendants are unable to provide medical care or personal assistance; therefore, the escort must handle all such needs.
Additionally, please prepare any items necessary for assistance yourself.
For safety reasons (such as assisting in emergency evacuations), emergency exit row seats are not available. Seats are subject to change without prior notice due to aircraft changes or other unavoidable circumstances. On Japan domestic flights, some fares do not allow advance seat selection on the website or other channels.
Check-in procedures are accepted at staffed counters, such as the Special Assistance Counter. If you would like to check in or borrow a wheelchair, we will also handle these procedures at the same time.

Full-reclining wheelchairs that can pass through the aircraft aisles are available at 49 airports in Japan (excluding Rishiri Airport).
To ensure the safe operation of our aircraft, all passengers are required to undergo security screening. Please note that the screening may involve a physical inspection (pat-down search).
If you wish to use the pre-boarding service, please inform the staff at the boarding gate. Once the aircraft preparations have been completed, you will be allowed to board first. Please note that depending on the flight status, this service may not be apply.
Please ensure your seat belt is securely fastened at all times while seated. If you are using an assistive seat or a child seat, please make sure the shoulder harness is firmly buckled.

Support Belts, Pillows, and Blankets: Handed to you on board by a cabin attendant upon request.
Upon request, we will escort you to the arrival lobby or your meeting point. Please inform the airport staff before departure and remain in your seat until a staff member arrives to assist you upon arrival.
