Eboshi-dake, reaching a height of 176 m, is located on the north shore of Aso Bay in the center of Tsushima. An observatory there offers a 360-degree view. The road leading up to the mountaintop and the parking area are well-organized. If you climb the steps from the parking area to the observatory for about ten minutes, you will be able to see the Tsushima Strait to the east and the Korea Strait to the west, thus getting a bird's eye view of a typical ria coast, with intricate coves and numerous islands.
This is a popular tourist destination where you can experience the history of Aso Bay, which has been known as an excellent natural port since ancient times, and a majestic view of the ria coast.
