Usage by Family Members

If a registered award user will be boarding without the primary member and they are an ANA Mileage Club member, they will need their membership number.
If they are not an ANA Mileage Club member, they will need to know the 9-digit confirmation number and reservation number, both of which will be displayed when you make the reservation. You should therefore provide them with this information in advance.

When Making the Reservation

When making the reservation through the ANA website, please retain the 9-digit confirmation number and reservation number that are displayed on the Reservation Completed screen.
(If you register an ANA Mileage Club membership number upon making the reservation, a 9-digit confirmation number will not be shown.)

When Checking In

Enter the 9-digit confirmation number and reservation number at a self-service check-in machine at the departure airport to collect the e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt.

  • The 9-digit confirmation number and reservation number are required even when collecting the e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt from a check-in counter.
  • Customers who do not have their confirmation numbers are asked to go to the ANA counter at the airport on the departure date.
Procedures can only be completed after customers present their reservation details and their identities are verified through official form of identification (driver's license, passport, health insurance card, etc.).
  • Please scan the mileage card (with smart card functionality), OSAIFU-KEITAI® device, or 2D barcode on the reader at the boarding gate and board the flight.

Changes

Refunds for Unused Awards

If you wish to request a refund for a Japan domestic flight award based on your own reasons, you will only be able to do so if all sectors are unused. After the designated amount of miles is deducted as a refund charge*1, the miles will be refunded to the mileage account.

  • *1.
The oldest miles with the fastest approaching expiration dates will take precedence for deduction.

Mileage for Refund Charge

3,000 miles per customer

  • If reservations and ticketing were completed for each sector separately, a 3,000 mile refund charge is required for each customer and each sector.
  • If you use any of the campaign offerings, etc., the mileage required for the handling fee may differ.

Application Acceptance Period

Please call us by the departure time of the flight reserved for your first sector.

Expiration Dates for Refunded Miles

Expiration dates will be based on the accrual month of the miles that were used to redeem the award. Miles that have expired at the time of refund processing cannot be refunded.

Examples of Unused Award Refund

Miles will be refunded based on the accrual month of the miles that were used to redeem the flight award.

Notes

  • Refund requests must be received no more than 30 days after the flight award's expiration date. However, you will not be entitled to a refund if the first flight within your itinerary has already departed or if you have already used at least one sector.
  • If the reserved flight was not canceled in advance, the unused award will not be eligible for refunds.
  • Miles that have expired at the time of refund processing cannot be refunded.
  • If the number of miles that are eligible to be refunded is less than what is required for the refund charge, a refund cannot be given.
  • If multiple customers are under an award to be refunded, the refund charge will be applied to each customer.
  • After the miles have been refunded, the refund charge will be deducted from the "oldest" (earliest accrual month and year) non-expired miles in the mileage account.

Transfer and refunds due to bad weather, etc.
