Kuma River boat cruise
For over a century, the people of Hitoyoshi and Kuma regions have enjoyed boating on the Kuma River, where skilled boatmen expertly maneuver wooden boats down the river counted as one of the top three rapids of Japan. There is also a slow stream course, which is a 50-minute cruise through a relatively calm part of the river. From the boat, marvel at the grandeur of Hitoyoshi's natural environment, such as the changing facades of the mountains along with the four seasons and the beautiful wild birds gathering in the stream.
Cha no Kura (Tateyama Shop) tea shop
