Amakusa Airlines (AMX)

These flights are operated with Amakusa Airlines aircraft and crew. Please confirm the following details when traveling with Amakusa Airlines, as airport procedures and services/rules will differ to those for ANA-operated flights.

Please perform the necessary procedures at an Amakusa Airlines airport counter for Japan domestic flights. Online check-in, self-service check-in machines and self-service baggage drop machines are not available.

• * It is not possible to check in at an ANA airport counter for Japan domestic flights.

Advance Seat Reservation is not available.
Seat reservation is available at an Amakusa Airlines airport counter for Japan domestic flights on the departure date.

Your boarding pass may only show the operating airline's flight number. The information displays inside the airport will show both the ANA and AMX flight numbers.

Through check-in (connection procedures) is not available for connections from/to Amakusa Airlines-operated flights. Please check in again at the airport for your connection flight.

• * Only hand luggage storage accepted.

The carry-on baggage and free check-in baggage allowances are as follows.

Number of items: Up to 2 pieces including personal belongings
Weight: 10 kg or less
Size: Total linear dimension must be within 100 cm. (Within 45 cm (width) x 35 cm (height) x 20 cm (depth)).

• * However, only items that can be safely stowed in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you will be permitted as carry-on baggage.
• * Carry-on violin cases are not available for borrowing.

Excess baggage charges will apply when checking in baggage which exceeds the free baggage allowance.

• * Baggage exceeding 45 kg in total for a single passenger cannot be checked in.
• * Due to limited loading space in the cargo compartment, contrabasses cannot be accepted.

The transportation of short-nosed dog breeds is suspended every summer from May 1 to October 31. This is because they are more affected by high temperatures than other breeds, and may suffer from heatstroke and respiratory difficulties.

You can use ANA lounges and shared lounges with which ANA has a contract. Please present your Premium Member status card and boarding pass to a member of staff at the lounge reception.

• * Lounge access is available after completing check-in procedures at Amakusa Airlines counter at airport for Japan domestic flights and passing through the security check point. (Exclusive security check point for premium customers is not available.)
• * Information on Amakusa Airlines-operated flights is neither displayed nor announced within the lounges. We ask for your kind understanding in this matter, and request that you confirm information about your flight by yourself.

Only Amakusa Airlines cabin attendants will be on board.

In-flight services are provided in accordance with Amakusa Airlines' service standards.

All seats are non-smoking.

• * Please note that priority boarding is not available on Amakusa Airlines-operated flights.
• * Mileage from Star Alliance member airlines, Star Alliance Connecting Partners and mileage partner airlines is not eligible for mileage accrual.

The following customers should contact the ANA Disability Desk after making their reservation (as it may not be possible for them to travel on flights operated by Amakusa Airlines).

• Customers who are seriously ill/injured, have difficulty walking alone, use an electric wheelchair, are visually impaired (if they are completely blind and traveling alone), or will bring a medical oxygen cylinder to use on board the aircraft.

Child seats are not available for borrowing from the airline.

• The available fares differ by route.
• It is not possible for one passenger to use two or more seats (for an extra seat fee or cabin baggage fee).
• Standby (waitlisting) at the airport on the departure date is not available.
