Himeji Castle

Himeji Castle in Himeji City, Hyogo is a famous castle also known as White Heron Castle and registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. At Koko-en Garden, you can enjoy food and tea with a great view of Himeji Castle. The castle’s dazzling appearance agains the blue sky has been compared to a white heron taking off from water, earning it the nickname “White Heron Castle.”
This is a 3.5 hectare Japanese garden made in the Lord's West Residence of Himeji Castle. The garden is designed by nine gardens, with each different atmosphere, so visitors can enjoy the differences every time they pass a wall or fence. There are also restaurants and teahouses where visitors can eat while enjoying the view of the garden.
