Fair Competition and Transactions

As the ANA Group further develops its global operations, we recognize the serious risks in the event of noncompliance with the competition laws of the countries we serve, and need to put them into practice in our day-to-day operations.

The ANA Group has therefore established Rules for Competition Law Compliance and distributed the ANA Group Cartel Prevention Handbook, which provides commentary through specific case studies, to relevant departments. We also provide periodic education and e-learning for managers. In addition, we conduct internal interviews in relevant departments to evaluate the potential risks of individual meetings and exchanges of information.

In addition to competition laws, we must compete fairly in accordance with laws and regulations related to sales and marketing. Our programs include seminars on the Act Against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations, the Act Against Delay in Payment of Subcontract Proceeds, Etc. to Subcontractors, and contract affairs, as well as internal training lectures at worksites and upgrades of systems to check that management is in compliance with various laws.
