ANA and LOT Polish Airlines expand codeshare partnerships
All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (hereafter ANA) and LOT Polish Airlines (hereafter LOT) are pleased to announce that from December 1, 2016, they will expand their range of code share flights to cover certain domestic Japanese routes operated by ANA. As a result of this new codeshare arrangement, passengers will be able to fly using LOT flight numbers between destinations in Europe in addition to Warsaw, Poland and various regions of Japan, including Sapporo, Sendai and Fukuoka.
Up until now, under the existing code share agreement between the two airlines, passengers were able to fly using an ANA flight number on connecting flights from cities in Europe served by ANA to Warsaw. The two airlines, as members of the Star Alliance, also already have a partnership agreement for their mileage services, and members of each airline's respective mileage program will be able to continue earning miles and using rewards on all flights operated by either airline.
Through this expanded code share agreement, ANA and LOT aim to provide customers with a wider range of choice and improved convenience.
