Information on the No Thank you Option (For Customers Not Requiring an In-Flight Meal) (International Flights)

Service Details

With this option, customers who do not require an in-flight meal after takeoff (or before landing on late-night flights) can opt out of receiving one.
Customers selecting this option can spend the time during which meals are served as they like.

Conditions for Use

Eligible Customers

Customers using First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class.

  • Please note that the pre-order service is not available to passengers traveling on discount fares (including inclusive tour fares).

Eligible Flights

All ANA-operated international flights

  • Codeshare flights operated by other airlines and flights with non-ANA flight numbers are not eligible.

Details

The No Thank you Option (for customers not requiring an in-flight meal) applies to the in-flight meal served after takeoff.
On late-night and other flights on which only a light meal and beverages are served after takeoff, the No Thank you Option applies to the meal served before landing.

  • On NH179 (Mexico-Narita), this option applies to the meal served approximately 7 hours after takeoff.

The No Thank you Option only applies to the main in-flight meal service. Customers selecting this option can still enjoy beverages and the light meals served at other times if they wish.

  • The availability of light meals may be limited depending on the flight.

How to Order

You can pre-order this option when making a flight reservation on the ANA website.
Pre-orders must be made no later than 24 hours prior to departure.
Please note that pre-orders and service inquiries cannot be made by phone.

In addition, please note that it is not possible to change or cancel a special meal request less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.

  • The "→" indicates the order of service.
    Premium Economy and Economy Class meals are offered at different times on different flights.
    From the menu search above, "Lunch/Dinner", "Lunch/Dinner → Snack Before Arrival" and "Breakfast → Snack Before Arrival" flights generally have meals offered after take-off, "Snack After Takeoff → Breakfast" "Snack After Takeoff → Snack → Breakfast" generally have meals offered before landing, and "Snack After Takeoff → Lunch/Dinner → Snack" flights generally offer meals approximately 8 hours after take-off.
  • The in-flight meal and drink menus are scheduled to be updated at the end of each of the following months: February, May, August, and November.
  • Please note that menus are subject to change without notice, due to availability of ingredients.
  • Due to limited availability, there may be cases where we are unable to provide the menu items of your choice. Thank you for your understanding.
