ANA check-in counters are located in row 1.
The oversized baggage drop off counter and the VAT refunds counter for items in checked baggage are located nearby.
After performing the check-in procedures, proceed to security check or the priority lane for security check (Fast Lane). After going through security, pass through immigration and proceed to the boarding gate.
You can find the VAT refunds counter for items in carry-on baggage on the way to the gate.
The lounge floor (4th floor) where The View lounge is located can be reached by taking the stairs or elevator near Gate B04.

Passengers connecting from ANA to a flight to a Schengen country should pass through security and immigration on Concourse B (2nd floor), then use an escalator or elevator to Concourse A (1st floor) and proceed to their boarding gate.

On Concourse A (1st floor) there are toilets.

Passengers connecting from ANA to a flight to a non-Schengen country should pass through security and immigration, then use an escalator or elevator to Concourse B (3rd floor) and proceed to their boarding gate.

Passengers connecting from a flight from a Schengen country to ANA should proceed from Concourse A (1st floor) to Concourse B (3rd floor), pass through immigration, and then proceed to the boarding gate for their ANA flight.

After passing through security, follow the signage for Gates A and pass through immigration. Then, proceed to the boarding gate for your connecting flight.

Passengers Connecting from ANA to Flights Bound for Non-Schengen Countries

After passing through security, follow the signage for Gates B or Gates T and then proceed to the boarding gate for your connecting flight.

Passengers connecting from Schengen Countries to ANA Flight

Please follow the signage for Gates B. Pass through immigration and proceed to the boarding gate for your ANA flight.

Passengers connecting from Non-Schengen Countries to ANA Flight

Passengers arriving from a country that is part of a One Stop Security arrangement (e.g., the U.K.) can proceed to the boarding gate without having to pass through security and immigration. After arrival, proceed to the Departures floor and then to the boarding gate for your ANA flight. (This service may not be available depending on your arrival gate. In this instance, pass through security, follow the signage for Gates B and then proceed to the boarding gate for your ANA flight.)

All other passengers should follow the signage for Gates B, pass through security and then proceed to the boarding gate for their ANA flight.

About the Schengen Agreement

The establishment of the EU and the tying of the Schengen Agreement have greatly simplified entry and departure procedures within Europe. The Schengen Agreement was first signed in 1985 in Schengen, a small town in Luxembourg, and implemented in 1995.

Once a Japanese national has arrived at one of country, travel within the country is treated as "internal (domestic)" travel. The entry procedures for Japanese nationals are as follows.

Disembarkation (entry) procedures

When traveling to a Schengen country via another Schengen country Entry procedures are taken only in the first country of arrival.

Customs inspection for carry-on baggage is made at the first country of arrival and at the final destination for checked-in baggage.

Example: Narita(Japan) to Madrid(Spain) via Brussels(Belgium)

Entry procedures and customs inspection for carry-on baggage is processed in Brussels(Belgium).

Customs inspection for checked-in baggage is processed in Madrid(Spain).

Embarkation (departure) procedures

When traveling from a Schengen country via another Schengen country.

The departure procedures are taken only in the last Schengen country to be departed from. The customs inspection is made at the destination country.

Example: Madrid(Spain) to Narita(Japan) via Brussels(Belgium)

The departure procedures are taken in Brussels(Belgium), and customs inspection done in Narita(Japan).
