On the Ground Floor of Terminal 3, there are the VISA ON ARRIVAL counter, immigration and baggage claim.

Passengers arriving should proceed through these in order. After passing through, there is an escalator going down to the 2nd Floor Garuda Indonesia check-in counter.

There are also the international transit counter, Information, toilets, currency exchange and ATMs and outside of the exit there are a bus and taxi stand, a parking area and an elevator and escalator to the Skytrain (Train Route: Terminal 1, Airport Train Station, Terminal 2, Terminal 3) station.

Passport Control

Please present your passport and return or onwards ticket to a third country, VOA (Visa On Arrival) counter is located before immigration.

Notes for visiting Indonesia

From August 18, 2025, All Indonesia Arrival Card registration is required.
Registration is possible 3 days prior to arrival. Please register on ALL Indonesia web site.
At Immigration, your return ticket or onward ticket for the third country may be required.
If you have an e-ticket, you are required to show the e-ticket itinerary paper receipt. Please note that a screenshot of e-ticket on PC or Mobile phone may not be accepted in the immigration.

From ANA Flights to Indonesian Domestic Flights

For connecting domestic flights in Terminal 3, Garuda Indonesia

After immigration, please pick up your checked baggage and proceed to the customs. Go to departure level (2nd floor) for Garuda Indonesia domestic flight check-in.

For connecting domestic flights in Terminal 1 or 2

After immigration, please pick up your checked baggage and proceed to customs. Go to Terminal 1 or 2 by Skytrain (available from 4:30 to 24:15, departures every 20 minutes).

From ANA Flights to International Flights

From International flights with Garuda Indonesia (GA) to Terminal 3
From International flights with airlines other than Garuda Indonesia (GA) to Terminal 2 or 3

Baggage: You do not need to pick up your checked baggage if it has been checked through to your final destination. Simply present your baggage claim tag to staff upon check in for your connecting flight. If the final destination on your baggage claim tag is Jakarta (CGK), you have to pick up your baggage at Jakarta Airport. You may also contact ANA ground staff for more details.

For connecting international flights in Terminal 2

Upon arrival at Terminal 3, please go through immigration and then proceed to the customs. Take Skytrain (available from 4:30 to 24:15, departures every 20 minutes) to go to Terminal 2.

For connecting international flights in Terminal 3

Upon arrival at Terminal 3, please proceed to international transit counter before immigration, then go to departure level.

Airport map information

On the 2nd Floor of Terminal 3, there are ANA check-in counters to perform check-in procedures. There is also an ANA Premium Check-in Counter for use by ANA Diamond Service Members and Business Class passengers on the left straight after going through Gate 1.

After conducting the procedures, passengers should pass through the security check and immigration and then take an escalator or elevator to either the 1st Floor (gate area) to board, or to the Mezzanine level (Garuda Indonesia Lounge) to use the lounge. In addition, on the 2nd Floor, there are Garuda Indonesia check-in counter for domestic flights on the E and F islands, Information, toilets and an escalator and elevator to the Skytrain station. On the Mezzanine level in Terminal 3, there are a Garuda Indonesia Lounge, escalators and elevators. On the 1st Floor, in addition to the boarding gates, there are also the Saphire-Plaza Premium Lounge, a smoking area, currency exchange, toilets and bus departure gates.

Baggage: If your baggage is checked through to your ANA flight, you can proceed straight to the ANA check-in counter upon arrival at Jakarta Airport without picking up your baggage upon domestic arrival. In case you find the final destination on your baggage tag is CGK (Jakarta), please pick up your baggage and check it in again at the ANA check-in counter.

From International Flights to ANA Flights

Connecting from international flights in Terminal 3

Upon arrival at Terminal 2, please go through immigration and then proceed to the customs. Transfer to Terminal 3 by Skytrain (available from 04:30 to 24:15; departures every 20 mins) for ANA check in.

Rail

Soekarno-Hatta Airport Railways

From SHIA station between airport terminals 1 and 2 → Manggarai Station in the east of the city (to go to the center of Jakarta, get off at BNI City Station)

Time required: Approx. 60 minutes
Fare: One way Rp.70,000 (Tickets can only be purchased by credit card. Cash purchases are not possible).
Operating hours: 6:12 to 22:42 approx (1 to 2 trains per hour).Around 5:00 a.m. to 21:30 p.m. for trains from stations in the city to the airport

Important points for getting to the airport

It may take over two hours to get there during the morning and evening rush hour, so be sure to leave plenty of time for travel. Also, travel by bus or train is also the means of transportation for locals, so it is safer to go by taxi.
