  • Boarding point: You can take a metered taxi from outside the airport terminal Arrivals Lobby exit. Enter your destination on the device in front of the taxi stop and take a ticket
  • Time required: Approx. 30 to 60 minutes
  • Fare: Starting at Rp.10,000 to Kota Station, Rp.130,000 to Gambir Station, Rp.150,000 to Block M (include expressway usage fees)
  • Operating hours: 24 hours a day

Bus

Damri Airport Bus

Near the airport terminal arrival lobby → Major sites within Jakarta city

  • Time required: Approx. 40 to 80 minutes
  • Fare: Rp. 80,000 one way
  • Operating hours: 5:05 to 24:00 approx. (15 to 60 minutes intervals. Varies by line)

Big Bird Airport Shuttle

Near the airport terminal arrival lobby → Major sites within Jakarta city

  • Time required: Approx. 40 to 80 minutes
  • Fare: Rp. 75,000 one way
  • Operating hours: 9:00 to 22:00 approx. (6 to 30 trains a day. Varies by line)

Rail

Soekarno-Hatta Airport Railways

From SHIA station between airport terminals 1 and 2 → Manggarai Station in the east of the city (to go to the center of Jakarta, get off at BNI City Station)

  • Time required: Approx. 60 minutes
  • Fare: One way Rp.70,000 (Tickets can only be purchased by credit card. Cash purchases are not possible).
  • Operating hours: 6:12 to 22:42 approx (1 to 2 trains per hour).Around 5:00 a.m. to 21:30 p.m. for trains from stations in the city to the airport

Important points for getting to the airport

It may take over two hours to get there during the morning and evening rush hour, so be sure to leave plenty of time for travel. Also, travel by bus or train is also the means of transportation for locals, so it is safer to go by taxi.
