ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) Application for Entry into UK

Nationals of countries designated by the UK Government (including Japanese nationals from January 8, 2025), and who enter under conditions specified by the United Kingdom are required to obtain an electronic travel authorisation (ETA).

You will be checked for an ETA application status at check-in.
If you are a designated national and do not hold an ETA, you may not be allowed to board our flights at the direction of the UK authorities.
Please check in advance whether you need an ETA and complete the application process before you are coming to the airport.

How to apply

Applications can be made via the official ETA website or the UK ETA APP.
When applying, you will need your passport, email address and a specified means of payment.
