Guide for facilities in Daniel.K.Inouye International Airport

Since the boarding gate check-in counters might be subject to change, please check at the airport to the day of departure.

Information
  • The fast track security screening lane (GOLD LANE) has been closed temporarily in accordance with instructions from the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
  • The ANA LOUNGE SHUTTLE has been suspended due to the closure of the ANA Lounge.
    Please confirm at the check-in counter which lounges are available for use.
  • Passengers traveling onward to other islands in Hawaii should check in their baggage at Terminal 1, as the baggage counter for transit is closed until further notice.

  • Passengers arriving at Daniel.K.Inouye International Airport

After arriving at the 3rd floor of Terminal 2 via the Wiki-Wiki Bus from the Diamond Head Concourse, go down to the 2nd floor. Pass through immigration on the 2nd floor and then proceed to the 1st floor. On the 1st floor, there is the baggage claim area and customs. After passing through these, there is the baggage counter for domestic and international connecting flights. Passengers connecting to Terminal 1 should drop their baggage here and then proceed on foot to Terminal 1. Next to the exit for individual passengers, there is a currency exchange booth and counters for various rental car companies. You will find bus stops and taxi stands upon leaving the building.

Immigration

Please present your passport.

  • Submitting the paper form I-94W (Immigration Card) for authorized travelers from nations participating in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), with an approved Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), has been eliminated.
  • When entering the US with a visa, you must present both your passport and I-94 (Immigration Card).
  • The customs declaration form has been discontinued.
  • Please fill it in separately if instructed to do so by an immigration officer.

On the 2nd floor of Terminal 2 (Central Concourse), there are ANA check-in and ticketing counters, security, an information counter, and currency exchange booths. On the Diamond Head Concourse, there is the United Club Lounge, and on 3rd floor of the Ewa Concourse, there is the ANA SUITE LOUNGE and ANA Lounge. After passing through security next to Lobby 8, there is an escalator up to the ANA LOUNGE SHUTTLE stop on the 3rd floor, and the ANA LOUNGE SHUTTLE drop-off point is near Gate C6 on the Ewa Concourse.

ANA LOUNGE SHUTTLE BUS

Eligible passengers

Passenger who depart from HNL by ANA operating flight on that day as below

  • Passenger who is eligible for ANA SUITE LOUNGE or ANA LOUNGE
Operation route / Schedule

Pass through the security checkpoint and go to the bus stop on the 3rd floor above Gates F1-F2. The bus runs approximately every 15 minutes from this stop to the drop-off point in front of Gate C6.

  • Passengers who transit from ANA to Other islands in Hawaii

On the 2nd floor in Lobby 8 of Terminal 2, there are ANA check-in counters. Next to these, there are United Airlines check-in counters, as well as an information counter and currency exchange booths. On the 1st floor of Terminal 2, there is the baggage claim area and customs, and after passing through these there is the baggage counter for domestic and international connecting flights. Passengers connecting to other Hawaiian islands should drop their baggage here and then proceed on foot to Terminal 1. It takes approximately 3 minutes on foot to Terminal 1. There is a currency exchange booth next to the exit, and you will find bus stops and taxi stands upon leaving the building. The Wiki-Wiki Bus (one-way only) connecting the terminals runs at intervals of 15 to 20 minutes and stops at the sidewalk on the 3rd floor of the international terminal. (The bus stop is signed.) On the Diamond Head Concourse, there is the United Club Lounge, and on the 3rd floor of the Ewa Concourse, there is the ANA SUITE LOUNGE and ANA Lounge.

Passengers Connecting from an ANA Flight to Other Hawaiian Islands or Other Destinations

When checked in up to the final destination

  • Please do the following:
    Go through immigration → Claim checked baggage → Go through customs → Check in baggage again at baggage counter for transit → Proceed to departure terminal for connecting flight → Go through security → Proceed to boarding gate

When not checked in up to final destination due to separate tickets, etc. (checked in up to Honolulu only)

  • Please do the following:
    Go through immigration → Claim checked baggage → Go through customs → Go to check-in counter for airline for connecting flight → Check in again → Go through security → Proceed to boarding gate

If the departure gate for your connecting flight is Terminal 1 or 2, you will have to proceed on foot.
If you are departing from Terminal 3, you can use the Wiki Wiki Bus to transfer between terminals.

Passengers Departing from Other Hawaiian Islands or Other Departure Locations and Connecting to an ANA Flight in Honolulu

Please proceed to an ANA check-in counter (Terminal 2, Lobby 8) or the counter at the boarding gate.

When checked in (with through check-in) from the departure airport up to the final destination

  • Please proceed directly to the boarding gate for the ANA flight.

When checked in from the departure airport up to Honolulu

  • You will need to check in again for the ANA flight.
    After arriving at Honolulu, please claim your checked baggage and then check in again at an ANA check-in counter.
