Mini Bus

Airport Mini Bus (most are minivans, but some are large buses)

The Mini Bus for Vietnam Airlines leaves from Terminal 1 (domestic flights) and the Bus for Vietjet Air leaves from Terminal 2 (international flights). Both go as far as the main entrance to Thong Nhat Park on Tran Nhan Tong Street. There is a free shuttle bus between terminals.

  • Time required: Approx. 40 minutes to the city center
  • Fare: 40,000 to 60,000 Dong
  • Operating hours The Mini Bus for Vietnam Airlines leaves around once an hour between 6:30 and 19:30 but does not depart until there are enough people.
  • There are frequent problems with the Airport Mini Bus, like dropping you off at a different place than the specified hotel, and so it is better to take a flat rate taxi, Grab or other taxi dispatch service, or the bus. Many drivers will try to get customers at the airport arrival lobby by wearing a Grab uniform and holding a Grab Taxi plate, but these are all fake. Use the app to call a taxi and do not get in until you check that your name is on the driver’s phone.
