Checked Baggage of passengers who are connecting to/from an international flights operated by United Airlines
There is no need for passengers who are entering Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) on ANA flight to/from Houston and connecting to/from an United Airlines international flight to pick up baggage at Houston (IAH). Please proceed to the exit of customs after U.S. immigration process.
In case of connecting from ANA flight to United Airlines international flights, show the information card which you will receive at the arrival gate to US Customs officer. In case of connecting from United Airlines international flights to ANA flight, please contact UA ground staff if you have any concerns.

If your baggage is being checked through to your connecting flight, you do not need to claim it.

In case your baggage is being checked through to your connecting flight, please claim your baggage at the carousel and take it to the United connecting baggage inspection machine immediately after clearing customs.

from IAH to Downtown Houston
Pickup location: First floor of Terminal C for both the #500 bus and the #102 bus. For the #500 bus, go to the curb side outside door 104 on the west side of the baggage claim area. For the #102 bus, go to the bus stop near South Terminal Rd. outside the south exit from baggage claim area
Time required: The #500 bus takes approx. 40 minutes to go directly to the downtown Convention Center. The #102 bus takes approx. 50 to 70 minutes
Fare: $1.25
Operating hours: For the #500 bus, 5:45 to 20:15 every day (30 minute intervals). For the #102 bus, Mon to Fri 4:42 to 0:42 the following day (15 to 30 minute intervals), Sat and Sun 5:07 to 1:08 the following day (approx. 30 minute intervals)
Taxi
Boarding point: Outside the front exit of Terminals A, B, C and E on the south side. Curbside after exiting Door 103 on the west side, Terminal E
Time required: Approx. 30 to 55 minutes
Fare: Approx. $60 to 90 (additional $2.75 when departing from the airport. additional $1 during nighttime (20:00 to 6:00 the following day), tips are separate and are about 15 to 20% of the fare)
Operating hours: 24 hours a day
You can also use rideshare apps on your smartphone, like Uber, Lyft, etc. The pickup location is Zone 5 on the west side of the Terminal E departure floor (Level 2).
