On level 6 (arrival floor) of Terminal 2, there is an escalator and elevator, and there are immigration booths upon going down to level 5 (Gates H level). Going through level 4 (Gates G level) down to level 3 (ground floor) there is the baggage claim area and customs. There also is an information counter and a currency exchange booth, and upon exiting there are bus stops, taxi stands and the passageway to the train station.
Go up to the Arrivals Level (Level 6), follow the signs to the baggage claim area, and the immigration area is on your left. After immigration, down to Level 1 and take the shuttle to baggage claim to pick up your baggage.
Please present passport.(A Disembarkation Card is not necessary when entering Germany.)
Please follow the red line for customers who need to submit a tax application at Customs or the green line for customers who do not need to make a declaration.
Letter of Consent is required for the travelers under the age of 18 entering / departing from Germany without parents / guardians. Please see the link below to confirm the details.

Passengers arriving by train can enter the terminal on Ground Floor (Level 3). Passengers arriving by taxi or bus can enter the terminal on G-level (Level 4). ANA check-in counters are located on Ground Floor (Level 3). After check-in, please proceed to security inspection. A priority security lane is available. Passengers with items in their checked baggage for which they wish to apply for VAT refunds should first check in at the ANA check-in counter, then bring their baggage to customs with a checked baggage tag attached. Have your VAT refund application form stamped and drop off the baggage at customs (Zoll). Refunds are available at the tax refund counter.
Going up to Level 5 (H-Level), there are immigration booths. After passing through immigration, there is an application counter for VAT refunds for carry-on baggage (Zoll). Have your VAT refund application form stamped and then receive the refund at the tax refund counter. A tax refund counter (Global Blue) is located near Gate H30. There is also Lufthansa Senator Lounge, Lufthansa Business Lounge.

The lounges on G-Level (Level 4) are located before Immigration. LH lounges at H-Level (Level 5) are located after Immigration. It is recommended to use lounge on H-Level since this lounge is closer to the ANA Departure Gate.In case of using lounges on G-Level, please proceed to boarding gate with plenty of time to pass Immigration.

Going down from Terminal 2 Arrival floor (Level 6) to H-Level (Level 5), you will find immigration and security inspection lane. Please check the boarding gate for your connecting flight and proceed according to the initial letters of the boarding gate: “G, H, K, L”. Passengers connecting from ANA flight to Germany or a Schengen Area country will be subject to immigration and security inspections as well as customs inspection for carry-on baggage. Passengers connecting to a country outside the Schengen Area should proceed to security check. If the boarding gate for your connecting flight is K-Gate or L-Gate, take the shuttle to the satellite terminal, then proceed to the boarding gate.
Please check the boarding gate for your connecting flight. Please go down one floor (H-LEVEL) from the arrival floor and proceed along the letter "G" or "K", which is the initial letter of the boarding gate. At Munich Airport, there are immigration and security inspections as well as customs inspections for carry-on baggage. Then, please proceed to the boarding gate for your connecting flight. If the boarding gate for your connecting flight is K-Gate, take the shuttle to the satellite terminal, then proceed to the K-Level boarding gate.
Please check the boarding gate for your connecting flight. Please go down to the next floor (H-LEVEL) from the arrival floor and proceed along the letter "H" or "L", which is the initial letter of the boarding gate. After passing through the security check, if the boarding gate for your connecting flight is H-Gate, please proceed directly to the H-Level boarding gate. If the boarding gate for your connecting flight is L-Gate, take the shuttle train to the satellite terminal, then proceed to the L-Gate boarding gate. (In either case, there is no need to go through immigration inspection at Munich Airport.)
Go up to the Arrival Level (Level 6) and follow the initials of the boarding gates “G・H・K・L” to the left, there is the security checkpoint.
Take the escalator down to Level 5 and follow the initial letter of the boarding gate "G or K". After immigration, if the boarding gate for your connecting flight is G-Gate, take the shuttle to Terminal 2 (Gates G, H), then proceed to the G-Gate boarding gate.

Please proceed to "Gate H" as shown by the display from the arrival floor.Go to H-Level, one floor up from the arrival floor, go through Immigration, and proceed to the boarding gate for your ANA flight.
The boarding gate varies with the country of departure.In any case, please proceed to the boarding gate for the ANA flight following the display of "Gate H."Depending upon the country of departure, Security Check may be applied.

Entry procedures and customs inspection for carry-on baggage is processed in Frankfurt(Germany). Customs inspection for checked-in baggage is processed in Madrid(Spain).
The departure procedures are taken only in the last Schengen country to be departed from. The customs inspection is made at the destination country.
Example: Madrid(Spain) to Haneda(Japan) via Frankfurt(Germany)
The departure procedures are taken in Frankfurt(Germany), and customs inspection done in Haneda(Japan).
