Guide for facilities in Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport

Since the boarding gate check-in counters might be subject to change, please check at the airport to the day of departure.

Arrival

Flights operated by ANA Group will arrive at Terminal 2 of Mumbai Airport.

Immigration

Please present your passport and Immigration Card.Those who do not carry an Indian passport (including people of Japanese nationality) must present the Immigration Card.You might be asked to show the boarding pass.

Customs

Please present your customs declaration form.

Regarding VISA ON ARRIVAL and e-Tourist Visa

Please be informed that VISA ON ARRIVAL and e-Tourist Visa application have different counters.

VISA ON ARRIVAL counter changes periodically without prior notice.
Kindly contact our airport staff upon arrival.

Departure

Flights operated by ANA Group will depart from Terminal 2 of Mumbai Airport.

Priority Lanes for Security Check and Immigration

Business class passengers are able to use priority lanes for security check and immigration by presenting their boarding pass.

Limitation of access to the terminal

Only the passengers intending to board flights can enter the international terminal.
Please note that those who wish to see off passengers cannot enter.
At the entrance of the terminal, all passengers are asked to present the boarding pass with flight number of the day printed, Electronic Ticket Itinerary/Receipt and the passport. The appropriate changes of reservation such as rebooking are required beforehand.
In the case of an e-ticket, please print the Electronic Ticket Itinerary/Receipt beforehand with the updated departing date and carry it.
Please note that passengers can only enter the terminal 3 hours before departure time or later.
Please note that passengers can not enter the terminal earlier than 3 hours before departure time.

Check-in

Please present your passport and boarding pass.

Caution for carry-on baggage

After security check, the security staff will put a stamp to show inspection was completed on the boarding pass and on every carry on baggage.
For this reason, ANA name tags for the number of carry-on baggages are handed to you at the time of check-in procedure. These tags are stamped.
Although goods (shopping bags) purchased in duty-free shops in the waiting room do not need tags or stamps, please show the receipt at the security check upon boarding.
During the security check upon boarding, any baggage without stamps will be checked again for security.
Prohibition for carrying spices in carry-on baggage on the flights departing from India

Immigration

Please present your passport and boarding pass.
The passengers who are of foreign nationality including Japanese nationality are not required to submit Immigration Cards.

Transit

Passengers connecting from ANA to other airline companies (India domestic flights)

Drop your check-in baggage at "domestic transit counter (AI/9W only)", and
· Passengers who transfer to AI/9W/UK flight, please proceed to the domestic departure counter on the 4th floor in the same terminal.
· Passengers who transfer to SG/6E/G8 flight, please proceed to the domestic terminal by taxi (paid service).

Passengers connecting from ANA to other airline companies (international flights)

●When carrying a boarding pass of a connecting flight
Go through the connecting security check and proceed to the boarding gate of the connecting flight.

●When carrying no boarding pass of a connecting flight
After completing check-in at international connecting counter, please proceed to the boarding gate.
Please note that check-in service may not be provided at connecting counter of a part of airline companies.
In this case, a staff of such airline company needs to carry your passport and boarding pass temporarily and go through the check-in procedure on your behalf.
The airline company may keep your passport and boarding pass for a long time until the starting time of check-in for the connecting flight. Your understanding will be appreciated.

Passengers connecting from other airline companies (India domestic flights) to ANA

・Passengers who transit from AI/9W/UK flight, please proceed to the international departure counter on the 4th floor.
・Passengers who transit from SG/6E/G8 flight which arrives in Terminal 1, please take the taxi (paid service) to come to the International Terminal (Terminal 2).

Passengers connecting from other airline companies (international flights) to ANA

●When carrying a boarding pass of ANA flight
Go through the connecting security check and proceed to the boarding gate of ANA flight.

●When carrying no boarding pass of ANA flight
After completing check-in at international connecting counter, please proceed to the boarding gate.
In this case, a simplified boarding pass with no seat number printed may be issued.
Such a boarding pass will be replaced to the normal pass carrying the seat number at the ANA boarding gate. Please notify an ANA staff at the boarding gate of this pass.
(An ANA staff(s) is ready at the boarding gate from one hour before the departure time.)
Please note that when check-in is done at the international connecting counter, a staff of the airline company may keep your passport and boarding pass temporarily to complete the check-in on your behalf.This procedure may take some time and they will have to carry your passport and boarding pass for a long time. Your understanding will be appreciated.
