Procedures Required When Changing ANA Mileage Club Membership Numbers and Switching Main Cards

A customer's ANA Mileage Club membership number (AMC membership number) or main card may be changed when the apply for a new card or when their card is reissued or replaced.

Check the following cases, and if any of them apply, go through with the change and/or update procedures.

Cases Which Do Not Require an ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Change (No Procedures Required)

  • Requesting an ANA Mileage Club Card or ANA Mileage Club Edy Card to be reissued due to demagnetization or IC functionality problems.

  • Switching between different levels of ANA Card (Standard, Wide, Gold).

  • Requesting a card to be reissued due to a change in the cardholder's name.

  • Requesting an ANA Card to be reissued due to demagnetization.

  • Renewing an ANA Card enrollment.

  • Switching from an ANA Card to an ANA Super Flyers Card.

  • Switching from an ANA Card for Students to a Standard ANA Cards.

  • Switching between different levels of ANA Super Flyers Card (Standard and Gold)

Cases Which Require an ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Change

  • Newly enrolling in a card that is of a different type or credit card brand.

  • Requesting an ANA Card to be reissued due to loss or theft.

  • Switching between different levels of ANA Corporate Cards (Standard and Wide).

  • ANA Diamond Service, Platinum Service, and Bronze Service status cards as well as ANA Super Flyers Lounge Cards are still valid even after an ANA Mileage Club membership number change.

  • Customers Who Can No Longer Use Their Previous ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Due to Card Loss, Etc.

    The previous ANA Mileage Club membership number cannot be used to log in to the ANA website's members-only features.

    Please use the membership number on the main card to log in.

    • Customers who are not sure which card is their main card can refer to the Information about Main Cards page.

    ■1. Customers Who Have Reservations (Domestic Flights, International Flights and Domestic/International Tours) Under Their Previous ANA Mileage Club Membership Number

    [Domestic Flights]

    Reservations cannot be confirmed, changed, canceled, etc. using the new card's ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    Procedures

    You can change to the new card's ANA Mileage Club membership number by visiting the ANA website or calling us.

    To do so on the ANA website, please search for the relevant reservations, click the Register Mileage Number button under the Passenger Information tab on the Reservation Details screen, and then update your ANA Mileage Club membership number to the one on the new card.

    • You may not be able to perform this procedure on the ANA website depending on how you made your reservation, the fare you have purchased, etc.

    [International Flights]

    Procedures

    If you log in with the membership number on the main card, you will be able to perform various procedures, including confirming, changing, and canceling your reservations, and board your flights with your previous membership number still registered to your reservations.

    •  You will only be able to confirm reservations and board flights if the relevant reservations or flight award reservations were purchased using certain payment methods.
      As you will need to register the new membership number to your reservations in order to change those reservations and perform various other procedures, we kindly ask that you have the card on hand and call us.

    • To display the reservation on the ANA App, you must register your main AMC membership number to your reservation.

    [Domestic/International Tours]

    Reservations cannot be confirmed, changed, canceled, etc. using the new card's ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    Procedures

    Please have the new card on hand and call us.

    ■2. [Domestic Flights] Procedures at Airport Self-service Check-in Machines

    Procedures

    1. Customers Who Have the Credit Card That Was Used to Purchase the Ticket

      Procedures can be completed at a self-service check-in machine.
      In addition, procedures on airport self-service check-in machines (Japan domestic flights) will be phased out from April 2023 onward.

    2. Customers Who Do Not Have the Credit Card That Was Used to Purchase the Ticket

      Please go to a check-in counter at the departure airport. In this case, please present an official form of identification (driver's license, passport, health insurance card, etc.).

      • Even customers who do not have the confirmation from their convenience store payment, etc. will need to go to the check-in counter and present an official form of identification.

    ■3. How to Renew or Delete an ANA Mileage Club Membership Number That Was Registered to an NFC-related Service for Smartphones.

    If the previous ANA Mileage Club membership number was registered to an NFC-related service for smartphones (specifically, Android devices with OSAIFU-KEITAI functionality), delete it by selecting ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Deletion from the service's menu and then complete renewal procedures to change to the new ANA Mileage Club number. Please refer to the Changing to a Smartphone page for how to register the new ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    1. Log in to the ANA website, go to My Menu, select [Edy・クーポン(eギフトカード)] (available in Japanese only; meaning "Edy/Coupon (e-Gift Card)") and then [Edy登録] (available in Japanese only; meaning "Edy Registration").

    2. Go to the IC Services page and select ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Deletion.

    3. Verify the last 4 digits of the ANA Mileage Club membership number that is displayed on the ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Registration screen, then tap Delete.

    4. After completing the ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Deletion procedures, return to the initial screen and select Register ANA Mileage Club Membership Number from the menu to register the new ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    4.How to Renew or Delete an ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Registered to the ANA App or ANA Mileage Club App

    Download the relevant app and enter the new ANA Mileage Club membership number and web password to log in on the login screen.

    <ANA App>

    1.Press the side menu in the top-left corner of the home screen.

    2.Press Logout at the very bottom of the screen.

    <ANA Mileage Club App>

    1.Press the button in the top right-hand corner of the home screen. 

    2.Press the gear button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

    3.Press Logout at the very bottom of the screen.

    ■5. Renewing Registered Information

    Customers Who Have Registered Award Users to Their Accounts (When the Account Holder's ANA Mileage Club Membership Number is Changed)

    Award user information will be transferred to the new ANA Mileage Club membership number. Confirmation is possible by logging in with the membership number on the main card.

    Customers Who Are within 2 Degrees of Kinship and Have Been Registered as Award Users (When the Award User's ANA Mileage Club Membership Number is Changed)

    Procedures

    Check the "Mileage: Can Award Users Change/Delete Information That Has Already Been Registered?" page. and ask for the AMC membership number change procedure to be carried out.

    Customers Who Require Birthday Registration, Identification Booklet for Persons with Disabilities Registration, Islands Ticket Registration, and Caregiver's Fare Information Registration

    ■6. Use ANA Card Family Miles

    When an ANA Mileage Club membership number changes, the ANA Card Family Miles registration status may not be automatically transferred.

    Please reconfirm the registration status after receiving the new card.

    • The primary member will need to log in.

    If any registration statuses are incorrect, please contact the following.

  • Customers Who Wish to Continue to Use Their Previous ANA Mileage Club Membership Number

    You can still use your previous AMC membership number from before it was updated to log in to ANA Card Member Services on the ANA Website. Please be aware that the following services can only be used with your main card.

    • Award applications (with some exceptions)

    • Award user registration

    • International flight reservations (including confirmation and changes)

    • International tour reservations

    • Deduction of Upgrade Points

    • Customers who are not sure which card is their main card can refer to the Information about Main Cards page.

    ■1. Customers Who Have Reservations (Domestic Flights, International Flights and Domestic/International Tours) Under Their Previous ANA Mileage Club Membership Number

    [Domestic Flights]

    Check your reservation using the ANA Mileage Club membership number that was registered at the time of making the reservation.

    Reservations cannot be confirmed, changed, canceled, etc. using the new card's ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    Procedures

    If you would like to perform procedures with the new card, you can do so by changing the ANA Mileage Club membership number that you registered at the time of the reservation to the number on the new card.

    You can change to the ANA Mileage Club membership number on the new main card by visiting the ANA website or calling us.

    To do so on the ANA website, please search for the relevant reservations, click the Register Mileage Number button under the Passenger Information tab on the Reservation Details screen, and then update your ANA Mileage Club membership number to the one on the new card.

    Reservations cannot be confirmed, changed, canceled, etc. using the ANA Mileage Club membership number that was registered at the time of the reservation or the new card's ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    Procedures

    To complete procedures using the new card's ANA Mileage Club membership number, please have the new card on hand and contact us using the details below.

    ■2. [Domestic Flights] Procedures at Airport Self-service Check-in Machines

    Procedures

    1. Customers Who Have the Credit Card That Was Used to Purchase the Ticket

      Procedures can be completed at a self-service check-in machine.

    Customers Who Wish to Register Using Their New Card's ANA Mileage Club Membership Number

    Select ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Deletion from the service's menu and complete procedures to both delete the previous ANA Mileage Club membership number and change to the new ANA Mileage Club membership number. Please refer to the Changing to a Smartphone page for how to register the new ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    1. Log in to the ANA website, go to My Menu, select [Edy・クーポン(eギフトカード)] (available in Japanese only; meaning "Edy/Coupon (e-Gift Card)") and then [Edy登録] (available in Japanese only; meaning "Edy Registration").

    2. Go to the IC Services page and select ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Deletion.

    3. Verify the last 4 digits of the ANA Mileage Club membership number that is displayed on the ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Registration screen, then tap Delete.

    4. After completing the ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Deletion procedures, return to the initial screen and select Register ANA Mileage Club Membership Number from the menu to register the new ANA Mileage Club membership number.

    • No procedures are required when continuing to use the previously registered card.

    ■4. How to Renew or Delete an ANA Mileage Club Membership Number Registered to the ANA App or ANA Mileage Club App

    Download the relevant app and enter the new ANA Mileage Club membership number and web password to log in on the login screen.

    <ANA App>

    1.Press the side menu in the top-left corner of the home screen.

    2.Press Logout at the very bottom of the screen.

    <ANA Mileage Club App>

    1.Press the button in the top right-hand corner of the home screen. 

    2.Press the gear button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

    Confirmation of award user information is possible by logging in with the membership number on the main card.

    ■6. Use ANA Card Family Miles

    When an ANA Mileage Club membership number changes, the ANA Card Family Miles registration status may not be automatically transferred.

Cases Which Require a Main Card Change

  • Enrolling in a new card for the same mileage account.

  • Canceling one of several cards which are linked to the same mileage account.

  • Customers Who Have Changed Their Main Card

    You can use the AMC membership number on either your main card or secondary card to log in to ANA Card Member Services on the ANA Website. Please be aware that the following services can only be used with your main card.

    • Award applications (with some exceptions)

    • Award user registration

    • International flight reservations (including confirmation and changes)

      • Reservation and confirmation functions may be restricted on the actual day of the main card change, so please try again from the following day.

    • International tour reservations

    • Deduction of Upgrade Points

    Check your reservation using the ANA Mileage Club membership number that was registered at the time of making the reservation.

    Procedures

    If you would like to perform procedures with the new main card's ANA Mileage Club membership number, you can do so by changing the ANA Mileage Club membership number that you registered at the time of the reservation to the number on the new main card.

    You can change to the ANA Mileage Club membership number on the new main card by visiting the ANA website or calling us.

    • There may be system restrictions on the actual day of the main card change, so please try again from the following day onward in this instance.

    • You will only be able to confirm reservations and board flights if the relevant reservations or flight award reservations were purchased using certain payment methods.
      As you will need to register the new membership number to your reservations in order to change those reservations and perform various other procedures, we kindly ask that you have the card on hand and call us.

    • To display the reservation on the ANA App, you must register your main AMC membership number to your reservation.

    [Domestic Tours]

    Check your reservation using the ANA Mileage Club membership number that was registered at the time of making the reservation.

    [International Tours]

    Reservations cannot be confirmed, changed, canceled, etc. using the ANA Mileage Club membership number.
