You do not need to register again.
The expiration dates of your miles and ANA SKY COINS will be automatically extended until March 31, 2022.

  • Miles and ANA SKY COINS will expire temporarily on September 30, 2021. However, the same amount of miles and ANA SKY COINS with a new expiration date of March 31, 2022 will then be accrued to your account in late October 2021.
  • Please note that expiration dates will be not be extended immediately after registration. The miles and ANA SKY COINS will expire temporarily on their original expiry dates.However, you will then accrue the same amount of miles and ANA SKY COINS at a later date.For details on re-accrual timing, please see Re-Accrual Timing.

Here at ANA, we have canceled or decreased the frequency of many of our flights due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In order to provide our valued customers with some reassurance, we will implement the special handling described below.

Details

Registration must be completed during the applicable period. (Please note that expiration dates will be not be extended immediately after registration.)
We have already extended the expiration dates of miles and ANA SKY COINS due to expire between March 31 and August 31, 2021 until September 30, 2021. As an extension of this handling, we will now extend the expiration dates of miles and ANA SKY COINS due to expire by February 28, 2022 until March 31, 2022.

  • Miles and ANA SKY COINS due to expire between March 31 and February 28, 2022 which have already expired before you register will still be eligible for this extension.
  • If you redeem miles for an ANA domestic flight award, ANA Value Vouchers or other kinds of vouchers/coupons and then request a refund due to reasons beyond ANA's control (such as typhoons or snowfall) or for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any miles that have expired at the time of the refund request.
  • If you redeem miles for an ANA international flight award and request a refund for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any miles that have expired at the time of requesting the refund.
  • If you use ANA SKY COINS to purchase Japan domestic flight tickets or travel products and then request a refund due to reasons beyond ANA's control (such as typhoons or snowfall) or for personal reasons, this handling will not apply for any ANA SKY COINS that have expired at the time of the refund request.

From November 17, 2020 up to 23:59 (JST) on February 28, 2022

Re-accrual timing

Miles and ANA SKY COINS that are due to expire will do so temporarily. However, the same amount of miles and ANA SKY COINS with a new expiration date of March 31, 2022 will be re-accrued during the period below.
If you have already registered and the expiration dates of your miles and ANA SKY COINS have been extended until September 30, 2021, they will expire temporarily on that date. However, you will then accrue the same amount of miles and ANA SKY COINS with a new expiration date of March 31, 2022 in late October 2021.

  • Even after registration, the expiry dates in your mileage/ANA SKY COINS balance and the balances displayed in the ANA Mail Magazine will not change until re-accrual.

  • This information is available for a period of one month from the re-accrual date of the extended miles in the Latest Information field on the Mileage Account Summary. For further details, please see your Mileage Account Summary.

How to Check Your Mileage Account Summary

Latest Information under Activity Details on the Mileage Account Balance Reference page

After one month, this information will not be shown in the Latest Information field. In this instance, please check the number of miles you have in the Mileage Balance field.
You can also check your mileage by clicking "Mileage balance details" under "Mileage expiring within the next three months."

After one month, this information will not be shown in the Latest Information field. In this instance, please check the number of coins you have in the ANA SKY COIN Balance field.

How to Register for Extension

Registration is complete once "Registered" is shown next to "Extention Application of Expiration Dates for Miles and ANA SKY COINS."
