Information

Service Information (StarFlyer operated flights)

For code-share flights operated by partner airlines' aircraft and crew members, airport procedures, in-flight services and flight information distribution vary according to the standards of each airline. Please check the following when using a code-share flight.

Check-in

check-in online or at an ANA check-in counter.

  • *

    Due to the migration of our Japan domestic passenger service system starting on May 19, online check-in via the operating airline's website will be required for codeshare flights operated by partner airlines.
    Online check-in will not be available via ANA SKY WEB or the ANA App.

  • *

    If your first flight is an ANA-operated flight and you are connecting to a partner airline-operated flight that allows through Check-in, online check-in via ANA SKY WEB or the ANA App is available.

  • Passengers Departing From Haneda Airport or Kitakyushu Airport
    Online Check-in or Check-in at the StarFlyer counter.
    The arrival and departure terminal in Haneda Airport is Terminal 1.
    Please go through the security inspection "A". You may not pass through other security inspections.

  • Passengers Departing From Fukuoka Airport, Kansai International Airport, Yamaguchi Ube Airport or Chubu Centrair International Airport
    Online Check-in or Check-in at the ANA counter.

Reserve seat

Same as ANA operated flights.

We may not be able to reserve front seats for ANA Diamond Service, Platinum Service and Bronze Service members or ANA Super Flyers Card members.

Confirmation of flight number

Your boarding pass may only show the operating airline's flight number. The information displays inside the airport will show both the ANA and SFJ flight numbers.

Minimum connecting time at airport

Same as ANA operated flights.
However, the minimum connecting time at the Haneda Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 is 50 minutes.

Reservations and Ticketing at Airports

  • Reservations/ticketing/reservation changes/refunds for codeshare flights are not available at Haneda Airport Terminal 1 or Kitakyushu Airport.

Same-Day Flight Changes

For changes from and to codeshare flights operated by partner airlines:
Change your reservation on the ANA website first, then complete online check-in via the operating airline's website.

Airport Standby Requests

For standby requests involving codeshare flights operated by partner airlines:

  • Restrictions on web: Certain online procedures may be unavailable after requesting for standby. For changes or refunds, contact the ANA Domestic Reservation Center. For boarding inquiries, please visit the airport counter.

  • Results & Boarding: Results of standby requests are sent via email or shown on boarding area displays. When a seat is ready for you, use your standby boarding pass to board. Either the boarding pass for your original flight or standby flight can be used to pass through security.

  • Mileage Accrual: If a seat is confirmed for a codeshare flight operated by a partner airline, it may take longer than usual for your miles to be credited. Please note that if your frequent flyer number was not registered at the time of booking, you will need to request a "Retroactive Mileage Registration" after your flight.

Baggage (Carry-on baggage)

The following is the carry-on baggage limit per passenger (excluding infants under 2 years old who do not use seats).

Number of Pieces

  • One personal item such as a handbag or shoulder bag + 1 item

Weights

  • Personal item + Carry-on baggage = 10 kg

Size

  • Personal item = An item that can be stored under the seat

  • Carry-on baggage = An item with total linear dimensions within 115 cm

However, it is limited to items that can be stored safely in the compartment or under the seat in front of you.

Please note that the FLY WITH PET! service (Japanese Only) provideby StarFlyer is not available for flights with an ANA flight number.

Air cargo

Cannot be used.

Premium Member Services

ANA Premium Members can use the following services when traveling under an ANA flight number.
In order to use these services, please show either your ANA Mileage Club app digital card or Premium status card to a member of staff.

Lounges

You can use ANA lounges and shared lounges with which ANA has a contract.
Please present your Premium Member status card and boarding pass to a member of staff at the lounge reception.

  • *

    Lounge services are not available at ANA SUITE LOUNGE and ANA LOUNGE in Haneda Airport Terminal 2, and at lounges in Haneda Airport Terminal 1 and Kitakyushu Airport.

Notes

Premium Members who travel on StarFlyer (SFJ)-operated Japan domestic codeshare flights under an ANA flight number will not be able to use any of the following Premium Member services at Haneda Airport.

Priority Check-in Counter

ANA SUITE CHECK-IN and ANA PREMIUM CHECK-IN at Haneda Airport are not available.

Exclusive security checkpoint

ANA SUITE CHECK-IN and ANA PREMIUM CHECK-IN at Haneda Airport are not available.

Cabin attendants

Only StarFlyer cabin attendants are on-board.

In-flight services

In-flight services are provided according to StarFlyer's service standards.

No smoking / Smoking

All seats are no smoking.

Mileage Premium Point accrual

ANA miles can only be registered if you are traveling with an ANA flight number.

  • *

    Mileage from Star Alliance member airlines, Star Alliance Connecting Partners and mileage partner airlines is not eligible for mileage accrual.

  • *

    Due to a system migration from 19 May to 9 June (planned), your FFP may still appear on your boarding pass, but it is not eligible for accrual. 

For disabled customers

If you fall under any of the following categories, please contact the "ANA Disability Desk" or ANA Domestic Flights Reservation and Information Center after your reservation. (Depending on the condition, Oriental Air Bridge flights might not be available.)

  • Customers who are severely ill, who cannot walk alone, who use electric wheel chairs, who are completely blind (boarding alone), or who use medical oxygen tanks.
