Bulky Baggage / Total Weight [Japan Domestic Flights]

This page provides information about checking in bulky baggage. The size of baggage is restricted depending on the aircraft type used for the flight.
Baggage exceeding 203 cm in total dimensions of the three sides can be checked in only if it can be stored in the cargo room of the applicable aircraft.

Baggage exceeding 100 kg in total for a single passenger cannot be checked in.

If the sum of the three dimensions (height, width, height) exceeds 203 cm, or if the weight per piece exceeds 32 kg, please contact ANA by telephone in advance.
Check in for bulky baggage may not be available due to the conditions of the aircraft used, etc., even if you have notified us in advance.

Depending on the loading condition of other checked baggage, we may not accept your bulky baggage even if its length is within the following maximum baggage length.

If your bulky baggage cannot be loaded, you may be asked to arrange for delivery such as by using a home delivery service.
Please note that if the length of any one side of your baggage exceeds the maximum allowable length, the baggage will not be accepted.

Baggage with total linear dimensions that exceed 203 cm can be checked in provided that it can be loaded in the cargo compartment of the aircraft used.

Baggage with total linear dimensions (length, width and height) exceeding 292 cm (17.5 in.) and pieces of luggage that weigh more than 45 kg (99 lbs.) cannot be accepted as checked baggage.

It may not always be possible to check in a piece of baggage with total linear dimensions (length, width, height) exceeding 203 cm or a weight exceeding 32 kg (70 lbs), or baggage with a total weight exceeding 100 kg (220 lbs).Please check the size and weight, then inquire with ANA by telephone in advance. Please contact ANA at your earliest convenience as the confirmation may take some time.
