Connections

Through check-in (connection procedures) is not available for connections from/to Japan Air Commuter-operated flights. Please complete check-in at the airport for your connection flight.

  •  If you board your flight under an ANA flight number, only baggage check-in will be available.

Baggage

The carry-on baggage and free check-in baggage allowances per passenger (excluding infants under 3 years old not using their own seat) are as follows:

(Carry-On Baggage)
Number of items: Up to 2 pieces including personal belongings
Weight: 10 kg or less
Size: Total linear dimension must be within 100 cm. (Within 45 cm (width) x 35 cm (height) x 20 cm (depth))

  • Carry-on violin cases are not available for borrowing.

However, only items that can be safely stowed in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you will be permitted as carry-on baggage.

(Baggage that can be checked in free of charge)
Weight: 20 kg or less
Size: Within 50 cm (length) x 60 cm (width) x 120 cm (height)

  • Due to limited loading space in the cargo compartment, contrabasses cannot be accepted.

If a single passenger's baggage has a total weight exceeding 100 kg (or 45 kg for aircraft with fewer than 50 seats), it cannot be checked in.

(Pets and Other Animals)
Bulldogs and French Bulldogs cannot be transported any time of the year.

(Bulky baggage)
Pieces of sports equipment exceeding the three dimensions of 50 cm x 60 cm x 120 cm can be checked in as long as they can be loaded into the aircraft's cargo compartment.

  •  As Japan Air Commuter flights are operated with small aircraft, space inside the cabin and cargo compartment is limited. For this reason, there may be times when skis, surfboards, golf bags, diving equipment and other large pieces of baggage cannot be checked in. Please note that, in this instance, you will be asked to make arrangements to send your baggage via a parcel delivery service or similar.
