Please note the below changes to the Japan domestic passenger service.
We will notify you of any additional information in due course.
Some changes will also affect international flights.
For items with both a "Japan Domestic Flights" and "International Flights" icon, the changes will be made for international flights as well.
Flight reservations can be made up to 355 days prior to the flight date.
Reservations for flights on May 19, 2026 accepted from May 29, 2025 (from 9:00 a.m. Japan time).
The applicable ages of infants and children will be changed as follows.
Infants also require a ticket.
Please book and issue tickets for infants at the same time as accompanying adults.

Expectant mothers within 14 days of their due date (including the due date) must be accompanied by a physician.
Children as young as 5 years old can use the ANA Junior Pilot (customers traveling alone) service.
Please apply to the ANA Junior Pilot service.

Class descriptions on the Reservation Search page will change*.
"Premium Class" will be changed to "First Class (Premium Class)". In addition, the "regular seat" will be changed to "economy class".
There will be no changes to the services themselves following these changes.
If there are no seats left on your preferred flight, you can use one of the following services to make a standby request: the Waitlist Reservation Service (an online service) or Standby at the Airport.

Please make reservation changes at least 20 minutes before the departure time.
If the itineraries including transit points, it will not be possible to change each flight on the ANA website.Customers who would like to make such changes are kindly requested to contact the ANA Japan Domestic Reservation and Customer Service Center.
On the following routes where the fare booked allows changes, it will no longer be possible to change between the specified airports.

Changes can be made for tickets purchased with fares for which this is permitted. Some fare rules may not allow reservation changes, or handling fees may apply.

Reserved flight: Refers to the initially reserved flight that has been delayed or canceled (or is to be canceled).
The flights subject to the above conditions due to delays are flights that have had their departure times delayed by 30 minutes or more.
If it is necessary to change a connecting or inbound flight (itinerary for returning to the departure point or in the same direction) due to a delayed or canceled flight, this can be changed in the same way. In this instance, please change your delayed/canceled flight and the connecting/return flight at the same time.
Please complete the refund procedure within 30 days from the day after the expiry date of your ticket.
Refunds can be issued on the ANA Website up to 4 days after the last boarding date on your itinerary (or before the departure time of the first segment for domestic award tickets).
We cannot issue refunds for only a portion of an itinerary.Please request a refund for all of the flights on your itinerary and make a new reservation.
Please see here for cancellation fees.No handling fee will be charged for refunds due to bad weather, equipment failure, etc.
The weight and size of baggage that can be checked in at the airport will change.
Additionally, new rules will be established regarding the number of pieces of baggage that can be checked in for free.
The number of pieces of baggage you can check in for free varies depending on the fare you purchase, so please check your e-ticket receipt.
Premium Class
Free of charge up to 32 kg per piece
Economy Class
Free of charge up to 23kg per piece
The total linear dimensions (length, width, height) per item is no more than 158 cm.
Includes wheels and handle.
Even if the total linear dimensions of your baggage are no more than 158 cm, restrictions may apply to the longest side depending on the aircraft to be used for your flight.
Premium Class
Up to 3 pieces
Economy Class
Up to 2 pieces
Depends on the fare purchased.
Additional Charge will be applied for baggage that does not fall within the free baggage allowance.
However, it may not always be possible to check in a piece of baggage with total linear dimensions (length, width, height) exceeding 203 cm or a weight exceeding 32 kg, or baggage with a total weight exceeding 100 kg.

Miles will be added as a payment method for upgrades. Please pay with cash (airport only), credit card, Upgrade Points (ANA Premium members only), or miles (ANA Mileage Club members only).
Additionally, if you are paying with upgrade points or miles, we will accept applications from 27 days prior to boarding.
