Information

Due to a system issue, when booking ANA Domestic Flight Awards on the ANA website, your registered Premium Member Service information is not be shared for flights operated by airlines other than ANA. Please present your status card or digital card when redeeming Premium Member Service benefits. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Some changes will be made to various conditions of ANA Japan Domestic Flight Awards boarding on/after May 19, 2026. For more information, please see Various Conditions of ANA Milage Club Member Services.
Your ticket for ANA Japan Domestic Flight Awards for flights boarding until May 18, 2026 cannot be changed to or used for flights boarding on/after May 19, 2026, even if it is still valid. For refunds, please complete the procedures on the ANA website prior to the departure of the first sector of your reservation.

All domestic flights within Japan with ANA flight numbers.

For domestic codeshare flights operated by other airlines, only reservations which are under the ANA flight number are eligible.
*

Domestic codeshare flights operated by Japan Air Commuter, or Amakusa Airlines are not eligible for flight awards.

Itineraries

One-way or round trip

For itineraries with nonstop flights, you can use up to 1-sector for a one-way trip, and up to 2-sectors for a round trip.
For itineraries with connecting flights, you can use up to 2-sectors for a one-way trip, and up to 4-sectors for a round trip.

For round-trip itineraries, a combination of nonstop flights and transfers can be used.

For round-trip itineraries, the departure point and final return point must be in the same city.

Examples of Available Itineraries

One-way 1-sector itinerary: Tokyo ⇒ Osaka
Round-trip 2-sectors itinerary: Tokyo ⇒ Fukuoka, Fukuoka ⇒ Tokyo
Round-trip 2-sectors itinerary with different outbound destination and return point of departure: Tokyo ⇒ Sapporo, Traveling by car, railway, etc. *, Hakodate ⇒ Tokyo

  Round-trip itinerary applies when the TPM for non-air travel is less than the TPM for the outbound or return journey, whichever is longer.

2-sectors outbound with transfer and 1-sector nonstop return itinerary: Tokyo ⇒ Naha ⇒ Ishigaki, Ishigaki ⇒ Tokyo

Stopovers and Transfers

Stopovers (Exceeding 24 Hours)

For itineraries with connecting flights, you cannot stopover at a connection point.

Transfers

For itineraries with connecting flights, only one location each for outbound/return is possible.
Transfers at the destination are not counted.
If the last city of the outbound journey and the first city of the return journey are different, ground transportation between the two locations is not included in the number of transfers.

Required Mileage

1-sector (one-way) awards can be redeemed starting from 6,000 miles.

The number of miles required to redeem will vary depending on the season and sector.

Family members who are registered for the ANA Card Family Miles service can combine their miles to redeem awards.
*

If you do not have enough miles to redeem an award, the difference cannot be paid with cash or ANA SKY COINS, and the award cannot be redeemed.

Eligible Mileage Account Groups

Miles from the following mileage account groups can be used to redeem flight awards.

Group 1 : Miles
Group 2 : Miles (Time limited)
Group 3 : Miles (Time and usage limited)
Group 4 : Miles related to aviation services (Time limited)

The number of miles required for flight award redemption will be automatically deducted from the member’s mileage account in order of the earliest expiration date. If there are miles with the same expiration date in different mileage account groups, they will be automatically combined and deducted in accordance with the following order of priority.
Order of priority for combining miles: Group 4→3→2→1

Validity

The itinerary must be started within 1-year of new ticket issuance.
Sectors other than the first sector of the itinerary must be used within 1 year from the itinerary start date.
Even if blackout dates are included within the validity period of the award ticket, the validity period will not be extended.

In this context, "date of issue" is defined as the date when the reservation was made.

Expiration date my be different when using a campaign.

Usage by Family Members (Award User Registration)

If a person other than the AMC member will use an award, the AMC member must register that person as an award user.* (Up to 10 award users can be registered.) Click the "Register through the Award User Registration Screen" to register.

Pressing "Register through the Award User Registration Screen" will take you to the members-only page.

Documents to verify family relationships may be requested.
*

Please also register free infant passengers as award users.

Usage Policy for Infants and Children

Infants (less than 2 years of age)

One infant passenger per adult who does not require a seat may sit on the adult's lap and travel free of charge.
Infant passengers occupying their own seat require the same mileage as an adult to redeem flight awards.

Infant passengers who do not require a seat also need a ticket. After award user registration, make a reservation and issue a ticket at the same time as the accompanying passenger.

Reservations for infant passengers using seats cannot be made through the ANA website.Please contact the ANA Domestic Reservation Center.

Children (2-11 years of age)

Children require the same mileage as an adult to redeem flight awards.

Age on the day of departure for the first sector.

Children who are less than 5 years of age must travel with an accompanying person (12 years of age or older)
*

Children who are less than 5 years of age and do not have an accompanying person (12 years of age or older) with them will not be allowed to board.
*

Reservations for children aged 2 to 11 years old traveling alone cannot be made online.Please contact the ANA Domestic Reservation and Customer Service Center.

Advance Seat Reservation

Free advance seat reservation is available.

Free Baggage Allowance

1 piece (up to 23 kg) can be checked in free of charge.

Upgrade

Upgrade is not available.

Blackout Dates

There are no blackout dates for ANA domestic flight awards.

The number of seats that can be used with Flight Awards is limited, even outside of blackout periods.

Other Various Charges

For flight award ticket itineraries containing flights to/from airports with a Passenger Facility Charge, customers will pay the Passenger Facility Charge by credit card upon the deduction of the required mileage.
