Information regarding various fees [Japan Domestic Flights]

The following various fees may be charged in addition to the fare.

Information

Japan domestic fares applicable to flights boarding up to MM DD, YY will be closed for new bookings, ticketing and boarding on MM DD, YY(before).
Your ticket cannot be used for reservation changes or flights boarding on/after MM DD, YY, even if it is still valid.

As the various handling procedures will be different for flights operated by Japan Air Commuter and Amakusa Airlines, you are kindly requested to see the information on the Japan Air Commuter or Amakusa Airlines page before you travel on such flights.

Pet fee

When traveling with your pet, you will be asked to pay pet fee separately.

Your pet will be checked at the airport counter on the day of your departure. Please come to the counter early as more time will be required than usual to check in.

Excess baggage charges

An excess baggage charge will be charged when you check baggage that weighs between 20 kg (44 lb) (or 40 kg (88 lb) for the Premium class passengers) and 100 kg (220 lb).

For codeshare flights with Japan Air Commuter, baggage exceeding a total weight of 100kg per person (or 45 kg for aircraft with fewer than 50 seats) will not be accepted.

For codeshare flights with Amakusa Airlines, baggage exceeding a total weight of 45kg per person will not be accepted.

Special fees

Special passenger fee

A single passenger requiring two or more seats can purchase additional seats for a special passenger fee.

The special passenger fee applies if you are bringing baggage that exceeds the carry-on size into the cabin (such as musical instruments, paintings, and precision instruments), or if a passenger requires two or more seats.

[Refund information]

The following fees are charged for refunds.

Refund fee: A refund fee of JPY 440 will be charged per sector. (For a refund for the ticket of the same sector being issued at the same time, a refund fee of JPY 440 will be charged per one refund transaction.)
Cancellation fee: Cancellations made after the scheduled departure time will incur a cancellation charge equivalent to approximately 20% of the fare. (No cancellation charges will apply for cancellations made before the scheduled departure time.)

Carry-on baggage information

Stretcher fee

A stretcher (cot for in-cabin use) is available for passengers who cannot sit upright on an airplane seat due to illness or an injury. A passenger using a stretcher will be charged a stretcher fee in addition to the fare.

Excess Value Charge

JPY 150,000 per passenger is the indemnity limit for baggage and/or personal belongings (the amount to be paid if the ANA is responsible for the damage to the baggage, etc.) when the value of the baggage was not declared.If the actual value exceeds JPY 150,000, please consult the airport staff when checking in regarding the Excess Value Charge system.
