Increased security checks
Thank you very much for your continued and loyal support of ANA.
By instruction of the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), enhanced security screening of outerwear (e.g., coats/jackets), shoes, and for explosives is being carried out prior to aircraft boarding from September 13, 2019 onward as part of efforts against aviation terrorism. Security checkpoints are expected to be busier due to these enhanced screenings, so please ensure that you come to the airport in plenty of time.
