In the event your flight is delayed or canceled by 30 or more minutes due to reasons attributable to ANA, such a mechanical issue, and you are unable to use public transportation from the airport to reach your destination; you require accommodation due to being re-booked onto another flight the next day because your flight has been canceled; or similar such circumstances, ANA will pay for hotel accommodation and transportation within a specified extent.

1. In the event that you are transferring to other kinds of public transportation, including the Shinkansen, express trains, etc. (Japan Domestic Flights)

In the case of travel from Haneda Airport to Umeda Station.

In the case of travel from Haneda Airport to Umeda Station, if the reserved flight from Haneda Airport to Itami Airport is cancelled and you travel from Haneda Airport to Itami Airport via Shinagawa Station and Shin-Osaka Station by regular public transportation, and then to Umeda Station. In addition to the airfare amount, we will pay the difference between the scheduled public transportation fare from Haneda Airport to Itami Airport and the airfare. If you go directly from Shin-Osaka Station to Umeda Station, we will pay up to the cost of travel from Shin-Osaka Station to Itami Airport. If the regular public transportation fare is greater than the airfare amount, ANA will pay the difference. Please settle the bill after the ticket is refunded. If the fare for scheduled public transportation is less than the ticket fare, the full amount of the ticket will be refunded. Please make a refund.

Please do not apply for a standard flight ticket refund and make sure you are reimbursed within 30 days following the departure date of your booked flight. 2. In the event that you are transferred to an which combines air travel as well as public transportation(Japan Domestic Flights)

In the case of travel from Nagoya (Chubu) Airport to Otaru Station.

In the case of travel from Nagoya (Chubu) Airport to Otaru Station, if the reserved flight from Nagoya (Chubu) Airport to Chitose Airport is cancelled and you travel from Nagoya (Chubu) Airport to Hakodate Airport by a substitute flight, then travel from Hakodate Airport to Chitose Airport by scheduled public transportation, and then to Otaru. We will pay the transportation fee for scheduled public transportation from the arrival airport of the transferred segment to the arrival airport of the original reservation flight.

3. In the event that, following a transfer, you are unable to use public transportation from the arrival airport to your destination

In the event that you are transferred to the later flight than the original, following a transfer, you are unable to use public transportation from the arrival airport to your destination, ANA pays cost of the transportation expense (up to total amount 15,000)

4. In the event that you require the accommodation for the reason that the flight you reserved is rescheduled to the next day or transferred flight departs on the next day.

In the event that your flight is changed due to the original one being delayed/canceled and your new flight has a adifferent departure date to your original one, we will reimburse your accommodation costs and your ground transport costs if you require accommodation due to scheduled public transport being unavailable. (Maximum amount available: JPY 15,000)

1. In the event regular public transportation is unavailable

If you reach your arrival airport in the middle of the night due to a flight delay and scheduled public transport is subsequently unavailable, ANA will reimburse your accommodation costs or the public transport costs incurred in reaching your destination. (Maximum amount available: JPY 15,000)

2. In the event that you missed connection and require the accommodation

In the event that you are unable to meet your flight connection and require accommodation after arriving at the arrival airport late due to a flight delay, cancellation, etc., we will reimburse your accommodation costs. (Maximum amount available: JPY 15,000)

In the event that a Haneda to Itami flight is cancelled: If you travel from Haneda to Itami via Shinagawa and Shin-Osaka using public transportation, and subsequently head to Takarazuka, ANA will reimburse the fare for the Haneda-Itami segment. If traveling directly from Shin-Osaka to Takarazuka, the reimbursement amount shall not exceed the travel cost between Shin-Osaka and Itami Airport.
