Job Transfer Compo Information

Information

  • [Bonus Miles] Customers who use Job Transfer Compo services for the first time will get 5,000 bonus miles per person.

Overview

We offer useful services for those transferring outside of Japan for work on an ANA flight.

There are two types of Job Transfer Compo services: Basic Compo which all eligible customers can apply for, and Service Compo which can be freely selected within the range of points obtained depending on the route and booking class.

Please feel free to use combinations of the services that work best for you.

Eligible members

ANA Mileage Club members who use a one-way fare to depart from Japan on an ANA Group flight when transferring to job assignments outside the country (includes accompanying family members departing on the same or a different date).

    Eligible booking classes : F, A, J, C, D, Z, G, Y

  • *

    Only tickets that are issued in Japan are eligible. Round-trip tickets are not eligible.

    For booking classes, please see the class section of "View Reservations" or "e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt" on the ANA website.

    e.g) Class G(E) : In this case, the seat / service is premium economy (E), but the booking class is G class.

    Fares that are not always sold, such as period/route-limited fares, are also listed.

    When planning to use an upgrade, please make the request for the pre-upgrade booking class.

  • *

    Accompanying family members must also be ANA Mileage Club members. (This includes children under the age of 2 traveling in their own seat.)

    Departures from the following 4 airports are eligible: Narita, Haneda, Kansai, and Chubu International Airport.

    Customers flying to Seoul, Vladivostok and customers using ANA-operated flights under another airline's flight number are not eligible.

Basic Compo

Request Deadline for Basic Compo: Please submit the request by 17:00(JST) four days prior to departure.

    If there are consecutive holidays before your departure, please submit the request by 17:00 three days prior to your departure date excluding weekends and holidays.

  • *

    Request deadlines for the Year-end/New Year period, Golden Week and Bon Holiday in August are different from the above. Request deadlines for those periods can be found in the notice column on the application page for Job Transfer Compo.

1. Partial Waiver of Excess Baggage Charges

◆For ANA Group-operated Sectors

This service is available for ANA flight number and ANA Group-operated sectors.

Applicable to the customer requesting Job Transfer Compo services.

Customers can check in 2 more pieces in addition to the free baggage allowance for the relevant service class.

    Excess baggage charges will not be waived if the weight and dimensions per piece exceed the standard free baggage allowance for the relevant service class.

    It cannot be used for domestic flight sectors which issued separately, and sectors operated with aircraft which have 74 seats or fewer.(Flights which are operated by Air Do, Ibex Airlines, Solaseed Air, StarFlyer, and Oriental Air Bridge are not eligible, even if the relevant flight has an ANA flight number.)

◆Overseas connecting flight

 

For overseas connecting flight, you can check in 2 more pieces without extra charges in addition to the free baggage allowance, as a bonus from Job Transfer Compo. Note that this service is available only if the baggage is checked in throughout from Japan to your final destination, and if you depart from Japan with ANA flight.

If we can accommodate your request for this service, we will inform you in the documentation to confirm the details of your request.

Please note that even after we inform you that the service is available, we will not be able to provide the service in the following cases.

 

<Not applicable cases>

  1. When the connecting flight ticket is purchased and issued separately from the ANA flight from Japan.

  2. When there is more than 12 hours between connecting from ANA flight to United Airlines flight. (Including schedule changes after booking.)

    e.g.)ANA flight from Narita to Houston + (12 hours or more before transfer) + UA flight from Houston to Sao Paulo →Not applicable even for the same book ticket.

  3. When not covered by ANA rules, connecting airline rules, and airport rules. *Rule changes may be made without notice.

  4. If the boarding date / flight number has changed after customer submitted new request online and customer did not inform the change to the ANA Compo Desk.

  5. If the ticket has not been issued by the deadline for the new request of Job Transfer Compo, or if the scheduled flight is changed after the deadline.

2. Overseas Job Transfer Family Support

To ensure greater peace of mind, assistance is provided at the airport to customers traveling with small children, elderly customers, children traveling alone, and customers who are pregnant.

Eligible Customers

  1. When one adult is traveling accompanied by one or more children aged 15 years and under

  2. When only elderly passengers (aged 60 and over) are boarding

  3. When only expectant mothers are boarding

  4. When passengers aged 12-16 years (or aged 14-17 years for flights to Mexico City) are boarding a flight alone

    Combination within the case of (1) - (3) is also eligible

Details of Services

Assistance will be provided at the airport upon the departure from Japan and arrival of the ANA international flight.

【Notes】

  • Service provision may be canceled at instruction of the respective country's authorities, etc., and may be canceled on the day of implementation.

  • There is a limit on how many customers can use this service for each flight.

  • Individual service can not be guaranteed.

  • At airports outside of Japan, we cannot guarantee that the staff member assisting will be a Japanese speaker.

  • The purpose of this service is not to provide baggage shipping or childcare options.

  • (1) to (3) are not eligible when arriving at San Francisco Airport or San Jose Airport.

  • Mexican law places restrictions on passengers under 18 traveling on flights to Mexico City without a guardian.

    A Consent and Release Form in Spanish may be required. Please confirm the details.

Service Compo

Request Deadline: Deadlines for request can be 1 or 2 or 3 weeks prior to your departure and it varies depending on the service menu.

    Request deadlines for the Year-end/New Year period, Golden Week and Bon vacation in August are different. Please check the notice column on the application page of Job Transfer Compo for the deadlines during those periods.

Step 1: Please confirm your number of points by route and booking class.

After the flights for the actual ANA Mileage Club member and/or their family members have been confirmed, the points can be combined for use.

    "Child" means the case that Child Discount Fares is used for 2-11 years of age, infant under 2 years of age who occupy seat. You can apply for over 12 years of age as "Adult" due to the same fare as adults. However, if you make request them as "Child", we treat the points are as "Child". Changes after application are not accepted.

How to Apply

Step 1: Submit a request online

Please submit a request after making the reservation for the flight.

Note that the request deadlines differ for each service option.

You must be a member of the ANA Mileage Club in order to request this service.

  1. On the request screen, please confirm the notifications and information items before submission.

  2. Please enter your basic information.

    • *

      Family members can also make an application for themselves after the member transferring for work purposes has departed.

  3. Please enter information for the Basic Compo.

  4.  [When submitting a request at least 1 week before departure]

    Please enter the route, booking class, and number of people traveling.

    Your Service Compo points will be calculated. Use these points to select the services you desire.

    Please enter the required items (e.g., delivery address for document confirming request details).

  5. If necessary, fill out the question and contact information fields on the request confirmation screen.

    Confirm the points to note and then submit your request.

  6. Your application number will be displayed. Please note this number down as you will require it should you want to confirm, cancel, or inquire about your request.

Step 2: You will be contacted by the ANA Compo Desk.

Once your application is complete, an automatic email will be sent to your registered email address.
After that, we will contact you when your application has been processed.

    ANA Compo Desk will direct you to the service desks for information on the Maternity Handbook, Certificate of Immunization Service, and Domestic Gift Delivery, respectively, so please contact the relevant service desk directly.

Other Services Available to Customers Transferring to Job Assignments Outside Japan and Frequently Asked Questions

  • Those with a lot of baggage or bringing small children who wish to travel light to the airport

      Please confirm the service details, eligible routes, application period, etc., before submitting your request.

      Terms and conditions for the Airport Baggage Delivery Service for the Service Compo (arranged in accordance with no. of points) will vary.

  • I want to travel with my infant. Can I borrow a stroller or a baby bed?

  • What about baggage for infants? Can I check in baby strollers and child seats free of charge?

  • My spouse has already been transferred and I would like to request the service for the rest of the family.

  • I would like to take pets with me.

      When we accept pets for transport, there will be additional charges. (Pets are not included in free baggage allowance, as well as extended baggage allowance services.)

      When transferring, re-checkin of pets might be required. (Different rules from general baggages are applied.)

Bonus Miles

Bonus miles will be accrued at around the end of the month after the month of departure.

Customers who had entered their ANA Mileage Club membership numbers when requesting Job Transfer Compo services and have used their ANA Mileage Club account to accrue miles from their flight are eligible.

    Please be sure to make arrangements for miles from the flight to be accrued to the ANA Mileage Club membership number used to request Job Transfer Compo services within 2 weeks after using the flight.
