A SIM card is a card with an integrated circuit that stores set information, including your mobile telephone number. Insert a SIM card into a SIM-free feature phone or smartphone (i.e., a device which has had its SIM lock removed) to enable telephone and data communication.

Enrollment Bonus Miles
Register your 10-digit ANA Mileage Club membership number when completing the form at the store or on the So-net website's application page.
The 250 enrollment bonus miles will be credited after the application has been completed.
Basic Miles and Unused Data Miles
The basic miles (20 miles) and the amount of miles based on unused data will be credited each month.
[Example]
A customer has used 2 GB during the month while on a 7 GB per month plan.
Basic Miles (20 miles) + Unused Data Miles (170 miles) = 190 miles

About Mileage Accrual
  • In order to accrue miles, please register your 10-digit ANA Mileage Club membership number when applying for or after starting to use the So-net Mileage SIM card. Please complete procedures through the So-net user website when registering an ANA Mileage Club membership number after starting to use the SIM card.
  • Customers who register their ANA Mileage Club membership numbers when applying are eligible for enrollment bonus miles.
  • If registering or changing your ANA Mileage Club membership number after starting to use the SIM card, please complete the relevant procedures before the amount of miles is confirmed on the So-net user website (i.e., the 15th day of the month after the usage month). The confirmed amount of miles will be credited when the relevant ANA Mileage Club membership number registration or change procedures have been completed.
  • Basic miles will be accrued from the first month of usage.
  • Unused data miles accrual excludes the first month of usage.
  • Unused data miles will not be accrued when the data limit for the relevant plan (3.5 GB or 7 GB) is exceeded.
About So-net Mileage SIM Cards
  • This service is provided by Sony Network Communications Inc.
  • Data volumes and transmission speeds may vary depending on usage location and conditions.
  • If the 3-day data limit (420 MB for the 3.5 GB plan and 840 MB for the 7 GB plan) is exceeded, the transmission speed will be restricted to 200 Kbps until 23:59 on the 3rd day.
  • Only the SIM card is sold. A SIM-free smartphone or mobile Wi-Fi router is separately required. Please check the list of devices which have been confirmed as compatible with So-net SIM cards. (Text is available in Japanese only.)
  • Configuration procedures must be completed within a certain period after purchasing the SIM card before it can be used. Please make sure to complete these procedures within this period.
  • When purchasing a voice-enabled So-net Mileage SIM card, please use it for over 12 months. If the service is canceled before the last day of the 12th month after the service start date, a JPY 5,200 (excluding tax) early termination fee will apply.

  • Separately from the monthly fees, initial charges, telephone call charges, MNP transfer charges, universal commission fees, and SIM card preparation fees will incur.
